We love staying at Kahana Sunset with its ocean front location and beautiful grounds and this unit gives you a gorgeous view of the entire property and ocean. We stayed for 10 days and found the condo well equipped for cooking (Our family enjoys cooking and making special meals while in Maui) and stocked with staple items so we didn't have to buy everything at the grocery store as well as many "extras" we weren't expecting like shampoo, conditioner, lotion, sunscreen, etc.! My advice is to go to the unit before you go to Safeway/Foodland! I would say that the property was clean overall, but I did have to wipe the fridge out a little bit to get out some bits of produce left in the produce drawer. Check-in was a little concerning when the code we were given didn't work, but we were in fast contact with the property manager, Carol, who gave us another code that worked successfully. And Carol did go above and beyond in my opinion when we inquired if the unit had a broiler pan (we couldn't find one) and she went to the store and bought a roasting pan for us that day so we could make our ribs!
