Stunning New Listing - Beckham Estate Vineyard Guesthouse
10/10 Excellent
"Stunning, spacious, and pet friendly! The property is a lovely oasis while still being only 15 minutes from restaurants, grocery stores, and charming shops. The house was very clean, and the property management communication was excellent. Great stay all around!"
"Great location between Wilsonville and Newberg, home was comfy and had plenty of essentials (towels, bathroom supplies, coffee & coffee maker, bedding). Upstairs has a king bed, bathroom, and a loft area with a giant couch, tv, and Murphy bed. Downstairs has another bathroom, king bed, and pool table, along with kitchen, sitting area, and patio. House has great A\C, plus heat and fireplace for colder weather. We were visiting family who lived locally, and this was a great home base to rest and relax. Terra Vina Winery just 10 min down the road and a great experience for wine tasting. "
Charming 19th century craftsman designed for mid-sized groups.
10/10 Excellent
"The home is breathtaking! Its craftsman style blends in with the foliage. Beautifully decorated, each room was good sized with comfortable beds. The bathrooms were well done. The grandkids loved the flora and fauna and enjoyed taking long hikes. They loved the creaks and and sounds of the house. It is isolated but close to everything you need. I would definitely recommend this house and will visit again."
Harmony Estate - Close to Portland and Wine Country Enjoy Your Peaceful Retreat
10/10 Excellent
"My family from Portland, Los Angeles, Georgia and Idaho planned a fun filled reunion weekend and I needed a home that would accommodate my daughter, son in law, and three very active children from Georgia, my husband me.Harmony Estates was the perfect choice. The home itself was exactly as advertised, absolutely beautifully decorated and so comfortable. An added bonus was the barn and the fact that the owner of the animals was onsite each day and educating my city grands on the enjoyment of horseback riding, feeding the chickens, leading the sheep around. They were in heaven. I highly recommend Harmony House to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with your family but still close enough to the city to enjoy all that Portland has to offer. Another feature was the Pinot Car which picked up 10 of us wine drinkers and we toured three of the many, many wineries in the Willamette Valley. Wonderful family time making many memories. "
"Lovely setting with gardens, stately douglas fir, playground, nice firepit area; the 2 houses are spacious, open concept design. Our family made use of all rooms and 2 hideabeds; enough blankets, linens, & kitchenware. Most appliances worked - the broken dryer was soon repaired. Concerned response to pics of rodent infestation.Cons: Dishwasher door & soap dispenser need repairs. Stink bugs, dead & alive, on window sills, ceilings, light fixtures are a minor nuisance. But SERIOUS rodent infestation: Nightly, upstairs in ceiling and down in walls of both houses there are scratching & chewing rodents. A mouse scampered across the guesthouse bathroom floor in mid-night, shocking one of us. Both hideabeds revealed a mess of rodent remnants, droppings, and urine. 2 blankets are chewed by rodents; we washed a smelly blanket & some stored towels. For 2 nights, til those mattresses were replaced, two children (g-house) and my wife & I (main hs) slept on floor mats. The living room couch was suggested, but cleaner has neglected inspecting under the cushions. Had we known in first 48 hrs that rodents were moving about freely, with our grandchildren sleeping on the floor, we would have moved out.By the week-end, allergy to rodent urine and droppings (my dx - I'm an MD) affected many of us. This was an amazing wedding week and reunion, with many joyful memories; the poorly-cleaned, rodent-infested house was an unhealthy disappointment. physician)urine mus were developed "
