Boulangerie, kiosque pizza, distributeur de légumes à 50m, et les supermarchés à 5km.Base nautique à 1km (que l'on peut rejoindre à pied par la digue), avec parc de jeux, balades en train et bateau, restaurants, boutiques...Le logement était top avec une cuisine bien équipée, 2 vraies chambres avec lits, et un lit parapluie mis à disposition sur demande. "We stayed here for 1 night only as a stop over but found the property to be absolutely incredible. The location is just mesmerising with various champagne makers around the village. The B&B itself is just gorgeous. We stayed in a family apartment containing 2 separate rooms which was perfect for 4 of us. The lady owner was fantastic and despite none of us being able to speak French she was patient and helped with everything we needed. She could not have been more accommodating. On our arrival we were offered various complimentary hot drinks and we were also allowed to use the dining room for some food we had with us. The breakfast was great with various options for everyone. All in all we loved the experience and we only wished we could have stayed a bit longer."

"We (retired Brit couple) have stayed at Val Moret many times over 20 years or so. Dinner at the restaurant is always a highlight and the most recently acquired chef has increased the already delicious standards. Rooms are clean and comfortable, all one needs for a night’s journey stopover. (I suspect few people book a week’s holiday here but a few nights would be entirely reasonable). During 2025 there are building works progressing toward enlargement of the restaurant and reception. The work isn’t at all disruptive or intrusive, particularly for rooms further away. If the end result enhances the bar area that will be a great improvement, as the existing bar facilities are about the only thing that let the place down currently. We haven’t used the spa but it looks good. Finally, credit must be given to famille Marisy (and particularly to Mme, who apparently never sleeps) who work tirelessly for the comfort of their guests. It’s really good to see a family business thriving in this ever increasingly conglomerate dominated industry."

"Room was like a dormitory! Very dated facilities that are in need of modernisation. Very expensive for what it is. Disappointed that the swimming pool was not open - it was not noted on the website about being closed over winter. Also disappointed that as guests we would have to pay €6 per person for the mini golf - extortionate price. Good meal at the restaurant though."
