I had an OK stay at Hotel El Edén. It's really more of a clean drive-in motel than a traditional hotel, which is good to know before booking. The room was clean and had the basics I needed, including a TV and a refrigerator. The staff was helpful and courteous whenever I had questions or needed assistance. While the facilities are simple and not luxurious, everything was functional and the stay was comfortable for a short visit. If you're looking for an affordable, no-frills place with clean rooms and friendly service, Hotel El Edén is a reasonable option.
The location was very convenient and accesible for the purpose of our visit. The room & location was clean and well kept. Staff courtious & attentive. The only observation is with the shower. The water from the shower runs to the bathroom floor & to the bedroom area while showering. This is extremely dangerous with such a slippery floor.
Yes, this is a motel and was once known on the island as more of a short-stay spot, but they've made some major improvements! The place looks really nice now. It’s clean, renovated, and the indoor private pool was a great addition and definitely worth it. When we arrived, the staff was friendly and attentive. They got us ice and an extra blanket right away. We really enjoyed our stay.
The only downside? A lack of outlets — that’s it!
The have dogs pissinng around the areas. That's included the private parking. Thats every room have. House keeping won't clean you room. Even you stay for 2 nights. You would get a blanket. You have to pay $50 deposit. The bathroon towell . It look like the one you use to wash your car. The employees are doing a great job.

Disliked: Amenities
Nice ambiance, cute rooms (no heat) but rooms was warm most times. Had room with outdoor spa; nice spa pool not heated as advertised, other than that the room fit all needs except for single outlet. Motel is a short stay.
This is a very cute and clean one story property. I had the basic/standard room so it doesn’t come with a private pool. The tiled floors are pretty but slippery particularly when wet. There no privacy in the shower because the cut out is see through plexiglass that looks directly into whoever’s taking a shower. There was noise all night long from the property security because they drive around the property 24/7 on 4X4’s or something and the noise is very loud. You do get a private parking garage that’s connected to your room so that’s cool and A/C and Wi-Fi. Overall, it was pretty and good for my stay.
I had a good experience overall. I would appreciate if they gave better blankets if you book a room for a few days. I did ask for it and they did provide it, so thank you for that.
The room was mostly clean and it was inexpensive. We booked for one night when no other rooms in the area were available. We didn’t realize it was a hotel that rents rooms by the hour (sign outside our door showed 6 hours is $50) as well as overnight. There is no office, uncomfortable mattress, sheets only (you have to leave a $50 deposit for a blanket) and thin old towels to name a few issues. The staff did patrol on golf carts all night, which is good considering the area was kinda sketchy. I wish we’d known ahead of time what kind of hotel it was and what to expect because we wouldn’t have booked. It has a 4.5 Star rating which is very deceptive! I’m posting this so others will know ahead of time. We stayed the night when there were no other hotels within 50 miles (we looked before giving up and locking in for the night) and nothing happened but it was not a good restful night.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Everything was clean and surrounding beautiful but the bed…was a disaster, the pillows? Nope.. We stayed the night before an early flight and it was not a restful place at all. I really wanted to like this place because the location is convenient. I would suggest an upgrade for those of us that wish a longer stay, not a motel. Just a suggestion to consider.
