"A lovely old homestead surrounded by welcoming lawn and gardens. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was spacious & charmingly rustic. It suited the needs of our extended family of 7 adults & 4 children. Our only disappointment was a few basic items that were missing .. there was no salt & pepper, cooking oil & an inadequate supply of toilet paper for the length of stay we’d booked for 11 people. These small but essential items would have been greatly appreciated. We experienced some very warm weather which was lovely however there was no air conditioning for the upstairs bedrooms & no fans. This made it difficult to sleep. A fan in each bedroom would have easily solved this problem. There was also no top sheet on the beds which meant either sleeping with no covering or a heavy doona. These are all small things & easily addressed. For the quality of the house & grounds, I feel these basic things would be expected. Despite these small inconveniences we had a delightful holiday in a charming house. We would highly recommend to other groups. "
