「Kern Lodge is conveniently located near shopping, great local eateries like Kern River Brewing Co. and is right across the street from the local market and gas station. The staff there is friendly and very accommodating. The rooms are clean and well maintained. Our stay was very brief, but I would certainly return here again in the future. We were also delighted to see them decorating for Halloween!」

「Great host, really enjoyed our stay and plenty of room and amenities. Kernville is a great place to visit and would recommend this property if booking.
PS: If I could, I would give this property 10/5 stars just for their dog, Dexter. He will greet you with his favorite ball to play fetch once you arrive.」

「The room was lovely -spacious, clean, nice decor, comfortable beds. The host was responsive and helpful. The location is quiet, nestled in a beautiful mountain setting in the Sierras. The lady who works at the General Store was very helpful in letting is use her phone when we learned Verizon does not have service up there. The lodge, which is a separate building from the rooms and is closed, is a marvelous piece of mountain architecture that offers beautiful grounds and a Frederick Remington...

「A special place. Someone put a lot of thought and love into the decor and little touches that make it feel very comfortable and cozy. It is much more spacious than one might except in an A frame」
