A unique slice of paradise.
Surrounded by native trees the perfect spot for relaxing break.
The front garden has plenty of room for play or to hide Away with a book.
Only a 5 minute drive to the Hawea township or 15 minutes to Wanaka.
Or walk the 6.5km on the track into Hawea
Smoking outside.
All bedding and linen provided. There are extra blankets in the wardrobes.
The kitchen is well equiped all you need to bring is yourself and food supplies.

Magical Lake Hawea

A beautiful holiday home in Lake Hāwea. A truly wonderful and peaceful place to stay to enjoy the area. This is a ‘home from home’ accommodation which made our stay very special.

This warm and friendly holiday home is tucked away with a lovely view of the Lake, which is only a few minutes walk away. Walking tracks to suit all levels are close by.Quiet and peaceful .

Best rest yet!

Amazing communication with the host, on top of that a lovely place to stay at for whatever reason your there for. The place was comfy, accessible, clean, and well done. There is also the beautiful clear lake a minute down from the house (The host has some Kayak equipment which we were very fortunate to make use of down at the lake) All in all would definitely stay here again.

Great relaxing break

Stayed with kids, great location for us, walk to lake every morning for breakfast ( after dad cooked it) Some nice walks around the area also, handy enough to Wanaka / Hawea. Beds super comfortable and warm, view from the front room is amazing !!! Location is quiet and so peaceful at night. Got some incredible time Kaspar pics of the milky way on clear nights also. Highly recommend this stay !! Thank Jane , will stay again 100%

Great house in peaceful location

This three bedroom house was comfortable and warmed up well with the heat pump and fireplace. Beds were comfy and bathroom heaters were excellent. The kitchen was nice with everything we needed. Heaps of room to relax with a lovely deck. Walks by the lake every morning. So beautiful

Warm and dry

Overall a nice tidy place. No dinning table made dinners interesting. We think the owner eats outdoors in summer as there was an outdoor table and chairs but not really an option in winter. Lots of missing lightbulbs in the property.

Beautiful and peaceful

Stayed here with family with nearly 4 and 5 year old children. Came to visit friends in Lake Hawea. Beautiful spot, bach looks even better than on photos. Love the new deck. Beds very comfi. Very warm inside (for winter/spring) too. Quiet and dark location, kids slept till 8am!! Had all we needed for a week stay. Thanks so much!

Great Location for a quiet family getaway

Amazing views. Quiet, chilled out location. We came to ski but the snow wasn’t great so we did lots of relaxing and some biking and hiking. The kids spent ages just skimming stones by the lake. Warm and cosy afternoons by the fire. Bliss!
