Great surprise in Magalisberg

Loved the great array of activities available, the free roaming zebras and the amazing condition the cottages are in. The Spa is amazing and I would have given a 5-star if the food choices would have been wider, however, I understand this is only because of the dates (New Year).

Lovely short stay

Booked the Valley Lodge & Spa for a short break with family. The facilities and staff was brilliant and the rooms was lovely. Visited the spa and all treatments was excellent. The buffet dinner and breakfast was excellent. Enjoyed short walks around the the facility with beautiful views of the river and surrounding areas. Will recommend the Valley Lodge & Spa

A romantic getaway

It was a great last minute getaway. Loved the tame zebra and springbok. The spa was lovely and food ordered off the menu was fresh and tasty. The rooms have been updated and very clean.

Lovely stay over at Valey Lodge

We really enjoyed our stay at Valey Lodge. All the staff including the security, gardners, handymen, waiters and reception staff where so friendly and polite, they really make one feel welcome. The room was beautiful and clean and the pool aria magnificent. The breakfast was really good and the buffet dinner really tasty and delicious, although expensive. The Zebras that walk around the shallets where a delight.

Safari Lodge and Spa

We had a wonderful stay - our cottage had a fireplace and was comfortable and beautiful. The spa is amazing and spent a morning being pampered. Good food and wine . Our second stay and going back for a week! Also planning a business conference there for later in the year. That says it all!

The staff were fantastic, both in the lodge and in the SPA. The SPA overall was great value and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Not being big eaters a A La Carte menu option would have been preferable. The Buffet works out extremely expensive if you just want one course.

Valley Lodge and Spa getaway

We had a short getaway which was superb. We enjoyed every aspect of the Lodge and will be going back soon! Our room was beautiful, and quality of service excellent. Gorgeous spa and loved the zebras! Lots to do in and around the lodge or just relax by the pool. Only 45 minutes away from home which is perfect for a weekend.

Not good value for money

Was disappointed. There was never enough hot water for two showers, the TV was so snowy that you could not watch TV and the restaurant was over priced. The rooms need maintenance. The staff were very friendly.
