Terrible stay.

To start there was an issue at check in, they could not locate my booking that was fully paid for two days. After 30 minutes and talking to the manager, a room was allocated, there was no towels at the room and the outside patio was not clean at all. On the second day there was a party at one of the rooms which seems that some of staff was involved. I left that day and did not stay the second night and booked myself at another hotel. Very disappointed.

Lovely B&B in beautiful area

Always stay here whenever we have a business trip to Pretoria. Lovely location in Waterkloof, with the most delicious breakfast and attentive manager, Maggie. Lovely garden to enjoy the views from.

Beautiful place - recommended

This is an amazing place - warm welcome, friendly staff members that go out of their way to make you fell comfortable and to assist you, spacious, comfortable and clean rooms, beautiful garden and conveniently located - not too close to the CBD with all its noise, but still not too far away. All in all, I enjoyed my stay and can highly recommend this Guest House. It is a gem.

An extremely nice place to stay.

The Guesthouse is extremely nice: great rooms, great service, very good location. We keep coming back to enjoy the friendly atmosphere and quiet ambiance. The location is excellent for exploring Pretoria and surroundings.

Nice Staff Good Stay

Hello, I like to say it is a nice view of South Africa when you wake up in the morning. Most of the rooms are facing adjacent to where the sun comes up and you get a great long range view from your patio or balcony room area or just go out on the grounds. I was able to go out of the hotel compound area up the hill to get some great photos of the sun rising. Nice stay. I know that I pushed the limits. I pretty much had my personal chauffer the entire trip. Plus the hotel staff was very accommodating. I did need the staff to run me to the mall to pick up some shaving cream and razor, that was not supplied by the hotel. But about every thing else needed was available. The walls are "Super" thick so you won't have to worry about your guests or next room over neighbors. "You won't hear them". The walls compared to the US felt like "Fort Knox" :) The bed was super comfortable, and the place is up away from the road. It was totally cool to feel the nice African weather in November. I was expecting it to be hotter, but very pleasant weather indeed. I have totally been fortunate. The weather has been fantastic with no rain while I was in Mexico, Houston TX, Pretoria, Johannesburg, Africa, Paris. So if you go enjoy the great outdoors. Wonderful. The food is cooked to order for breakfast and I have to say I was pleased. Hope you enjoy your stay.

Familiäres Guesthouse mit wunderschönem Garten

Wir waren nur für eine Nacht auf Durchreise da. Der Empfang mit Erfrischungstücher und Willkommensdrink war herzlich. Die Zimmer zweckmässig und nett. Das Frühstück sehr lecker mit einer tollen Auswahl an frischen Säften und Früchten. Die Gartenanlage ist sehr gepflegt und romantisch

Beautiful guesthouse - except of "Executive room"

We had a very bad start: the "Executive Room" we booked as a family of four was not clean, there was no warm water and the room is quite sub-standard compared to the other rooms of this guest house (rather small, no balcony, kitchen cupboards falling apart, ...). Fortunately the staff and the management did everything to made our stay beautiful: we got two of the other rooms, which are very beautiful, with a beautiful bathroom and a small balcony with view over Pretoria. The rooms are next to a nice swimming pool and a braai area, which is great for families. Although it can cause problems: on our last night we had young people partying way past midnight, so we could not sleep. The management should probably put up some rules, to make sure that this does not happen. But besides that, a great place to stay.

Central location

The guesthouse is beautiful. The room I stayed in was very clean and tidy. I have only one negative comment. Room 6 does not have wifi. I tried 3 devices but no luck on connecting. This is important for any business person while travelling. The rest was great!

Airport Stop-Over

My son and I stayed here on our way back from the airport. We were very pleased with the guest house exceeding our expectations in all areas. The rooms were very neat, arranged for space efficiency, and nicely decorated. The beds were very comfortable The bath was spacious and everything was very clean. Check-in and check-out were seamless and the hot breakfast was excellent. This was an exceptional value for the money. We will be back again.

Loved it!

Absolutely lovely lodge. Very clean and big rooms. Very friendly staff and fast wifi. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Only tiny downside is that one really needs to have a car to get out and about there as no taxis available. Having said that, kudos to the staff who drove me to my appointments. Excellent!

Quiet residential neighbourhood. Quiet hotel.

Disappointment. 30 minutes waiting at the security gate to gain admittance! Shown to first room - airconditioner not functioning. Second room, door key not working. Third room - the one I settled for - no wi-fi. No evening meals available. Had to call out for expensive meal delivery In other respects, very comfortable. Good breakfast.
