Jogashima Island

Down at the tip of Miura Peninsula is a little island. It's accessible by bridge and has a marvelous park with flowers, trees, and space for your dog to run. Paths take you down the cliff side to the rocky shore, where people fish and relax. The fishing village on the other side of the island has tremendous fresh fish for sale.

Jogashima lighthouse is located southwest end of Miura peninsula in Kanagawa prefecture and 1.5 hour train ride from Tokyo central.
This is one of the first Japanese lighthouses from 19th century. The first one was collapsed with the earthquake in 1923 and rebuilt soon.

Close to Haneda, plenty of convenience stores around, many local eateries nearby that are delicious, room was super clean, well stocked with amenities, LOVE LOVE THE FULL HOUSEKEEPING - they do a super clean, top up of amenities, PLUS a full change of all the bedsheets. Daily towel change - including face towels. Third stay for us. Washing machine/dryer in the room was so awesome and convenient - well thought of with many hangers and rack for drying if you prefer to hang them up - the heater in the room will dry them overnight while you sleep. Many train stations near by to get to, Bonus was 2 stops to Ginza + Tsukiji Market. Totally nice vibe, not hectic crazy like Shinjuku or Shibuya. Definitely will stay again.
