Great accommodations

Lots of space, beautifully decorated, very clean with parking included! Great communication and excursion tips. Location was perfect for walking to restaurants and shops. Planning on staying again!

Weekend Away

Our second stay at your wonderful apartment. The check in process is so easy and the apartment is within walking distance of everything in Jim Thorpe. This is a great place for two couples to have a great weekend. Lots of fun things to do in Jim Thorpe!!

Girls weekend

My friends and I spent the weekend celebrating our 50th birthdays. The house was perfect. Great location and easy communication before and during our trip. Would definitely stay here again if we’re ever in the area again.

Another Fun Stay

We are repeat guests at the apartment and just love it. It's a perfect location in Jim Thorpe, and having a parking spot is wonderful if you decide to drive to local attractions in the area. The owners decorate the apt according to the season which is a really nice touch. They are great owners and we will definitely return.

Weekend get away

I cannot say enough good things about Jeffery. There was a hiccup with our reservation and when he caught it he went above and beyond to fix it. We became fast friends lol. Very knowledgeable about Jim Thorpe and made was accessible for our needs. So happy we got to share one of our favorite places with our kids. We can’t wait to come back!

Perfect apartment, thoughtful touches!

We had an amazing long weekend in Jim Thorpe at High Street Guest House! Plenty of space, huge bedrooms, wonderful daylight throughout. Kitchen & bath were perfectly equipped. Innkeeper Chad was available to assist with a few quick questions which was much appreciated. 4 adults & a brittany loved everything about the stay and hope to return soon!

Amazing Guesthouse!

We adored our stay in this funky guesthouse. It was immaculately clean, provided all the amenities anyone could need, and the design aesthetics had me squeeing every time we reentered. The location was PERFECT - easy, pleasurable walk to town, but away from the hubub. And included parking was a gamechanger! The owner and innkeepers were so very gracious and communicative. Will be back!

I loved this apartments and its location just steps away from the main drag through town and local hot spots. From good restaurants to music and arts to hiking and shopping it’s all there at your fingertips. The apartment was the perfect place to relax and reflect on the days activity. We loved the smart tv and WiFi was fast. The innkeeper was thoughtful and responsive. I 100% recommend a stay here.

Great Location, Great Apartment

We loved staying at this wonderful.apartment. Loved the view from the living room area while relaxing after a few hours walking through Jim Thorpe. So cute, yet very modern. Kitchen had what we needed; the shower was great with plenty of hot water. WiFi worked perfectly for the few hours of work we needed to accomplish. The location in town was perfect! Close to everything, yet quiet in the evenings. Our hosts are awesome. We'll be back!

Girls Weekday Stay

We are 4 high school friends who are retired and like to get together periodically for a girls’ “weekend”. Two live in NEPA and two of us live in the Carlisle, PA area so we wanted to find a place in the middle. The apartment was perfect! It was very clean, cozy, and inviting. The fireplace was great as we were there for a couple of rainy days! The Christmas trees and other decorations added a wonderful Holiday touch! Jim Thorpe is a very lovely town (even in the rain!) and we enjoyed our stay. The train ride and the trolley ride were great! Wonderful restaurants and very friendly people! We will definitely be back! Thank you so much!

Charming Restored Property in Historic Neighborhood

Jeffrey and Chad were very responsive before and during our visit with answers to our questions and making recommendations for activities and meals.  On arrival, Lexie was very helpful carrying our luggage up the 20 stairs to the lovely apartment and Chad helped us on our departure.  We thoroughly enjoyed the clean, extremely spacious, nicely furnished and renovated apartment, with comfortable bedding, a well equipped kitchen, and a great shower.  The festive seasonal and Halloween decorations were an added touch. Jim Thorpe has an amazing community of small merchants who support and encourage each other, creating a unique experience.  We'd highly recommend our family and friends to stay at the High Street Guesthouse for a memorable stay.

Small town Christmas 🎄

We have been spending every other Christmas in a unique small town. Jim Thorpe was our choice this year. The quaint apartment was just what we were looking for, plus they added all the special touches of Christmas in every room. I couldn’t have been more pleased with the location and the coziness of their apartment. I love to see when the owners pay attention to detail for the renters. It makes you feel special. Perfect getaway

First of all the apt we stayed in was so much nicer than the pictures showed. It was so spacious and the attention to detail was off the charts. They thought of everything. All I had to do was sit back and enjoy. Jim Thorpe was so organically peaceful and serene. Even during the holiday. People were so friendly. We went to see a show at the Opera house, did some shopping, had lunch at the Inne, celebrated a birthday…it was hard to leave. We will definitely come back. Thank you to the owners, you were awesome and answered all my questions so quickly. I would recommend to anyone looking for a really sweet time away in the mountains. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

You're missing out if you DON'T stay here!

This property was one of coolest places we have ever stayed. Jim Thorpe is such a charming little town and this second level spacious appartment exudes that small town charm. It was super hot outside and the air conditioning in this unit was perfect and kept us nice and cool. The apartment was very clean and decorated so nicely. Our dog came with us on the trip and she loved watching people go by on the streets below. The little nook in the living room is the perfect place to unwind for the night with a glass of wine and just look over the city streets. Also a great view of the Old Jail right out the window! We will definitely be returning to this property. There is nothing you can even complain about while staying here! Oh also the bluetooth light in the bathroom was a fun addition to our morning routine. I'm definitely buying one.
