"The hosts were incredibly nice and hospitable. The apartment was very spacious, clean, and cozy. The view from the balcony is terrific and the location is perfect for getting around between Kaiserslautern and Zweibrucken. Manches war einfach noch nicht richtig fertig.Leider mussten wir jeweils einen Tag Urlaub opfern, weil der WLAN Schlüssel nicht da war und er zweite WLAN Schlüssel in der Mail nicht der richtige war. "A real break from hectic normal work life. All you need to regain some work life balance. Wonderful walking surroundings, easy cozy living home (multi story house). Wonderful outside sitting areas. Fully equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms. Easy access to basic shopping, to woods and vallies, even near an electric car charging station. Well done, thanks very much Petra and family! "

Great Property…Killer view!

"A wonderful hotel with a view that could not be matched in the area. The room was comfortable and the air conditioning was a godsend as it was quite warm outside. The view from the terrace should not be missed. The property is a stone’s throw from old castle ruins (free) and an underground sandstone quarry (there is an admission fee), as well as a short walk from the old town. Full disclosure: the hotel is on the top of a hill. While the walk into town was all downhill and relatively easy, the walk back up to the hotel could be viewed as somewhat strenuous."

"Just back from a visit to Idar-Oberstein. Parking was easy, I arrived after 10pm so reception was closed but a staff member was able to quickly get me checked in. Room was perfect for my stay. Hotel is close to the Felsenkirche and castles. The Norma shop is 2 minutes walk away and there are several places to eat in the square."
