I am a frequent renter. At least once a year and no issues until now. In my opinion, major issues with transparency, maintenance, and professionalism.In initial contact she did not disclose to me she was listed owners spouse and used her realtor signature. I was unaware until problems came up. She also requested second payment before it was due through VRBO.Prior to arrival, I was asked to sign a document stating there might be construction and pool closure. In reality, she knew both were definitely happening, as she had stayed there herself before my stay and had received official notice nearly a month in advance. The construction was extremely loud jackhammering from 7:30 AM–4 PM on weekdays—far beyond normal disruption.Other issues included:A/C failure with an initial dismissive response (“You’ll be fine”) despite indoor temps at 80F. It was fixed. Subpar cleanliness (dirty dishes, debris under beds).Furniture not matching photos (cheap broken replacements, worn-out, broken down couch).Poor maintenance (peeling paint, malfunctioning bathroom door, grime when filling in the jetted tub but not turning on jets).This property was misrepresented and poorly maintained. I rent frequently, and this was by far the worst experience. The only bad experience I've had. I hope future guests are given honest information to make an informed choice.
