"Everything was wonderful except the bed. I have never slept on a worse bed in my life felt like I was sleeping on a board. You would think for a Hilton the beds would be so comfortable. I will not be back. Everything else was really good."

"10 days there no room service and every time we pay they gave us are deposit back asap but when we checked out and took 24hrs. Other than the maid service pretty good experience. Free washer and dryers but didn’t know we would be washing our own towels"

"Four of us friends stayed here for several nights and had a wonderful, relaxing time. It was so relaxing we didn't leave the place other than for a boat tour. The home is great, clean and has everything you need! It is well-stocked and spacious. The biggest decision we had to make each day was which deck to sit on! We enjoyed watching the birds especially the pair of stunningly bright yellow Prothonotary warblers nesting in the birdhouse near the house which I watched out the bedroom window each morning. We the watched fish jump, birds soar overhead and kept eyes on the bayou for alligators. We were greeted by a deer meandering by on the shore across the bayou. The jetted tub was perfect for winding down each night."

"Our group of eight had a wonderful time! The covered porch is a lovely place to sit and enjoy a fantastic and relaxing view. It’s a quick drive to Jefferson, where we enjoyed walking around the town. We’d definitely stay here again. If you have a large family or group I highly recommend it. We did have some issues with the gas grill as it really needs to he replaced. Also, the batteries on the electric shades were out and we were unable to open the blinds in the master bedroom and one shade in the living room. These are not issues that would keep us from staying here again. Just things that need to be addressed. "

"We were in Jefferson for the Civil War Reenactment and this house was perfect for our stay. It was across the street from one of the reenactor encampment locations and a short, easy walk to the downtown area. Even though it was close to everything, it was quie6 and peaceful. The house is beautiful and plenty large enough for a fwmily. Check in, check out super easy. The owner is very quick to answer questions. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again next year."
