Quiet Riverfront getaway to enjoy Midcoast Maine!
10/10 Excellent
"The property was perfect! No surprises from what we had read about it. Lisa and Rick are fantastic - and we are going back next year. We had a wonderful time at their place in Damariscotta."

"nice accommodations"
Biscay Repose, Biscay Pond, Bristol. Private, spacious, family friendly
10/10 Excellent
"We had a fantastic stay at Biscay Repose! We were four adults with two young kids, and we found the house had everything we needed. It was bright, very clean and lovingly decorated with lots of charming touches throughout (books/games/regional decor). We made nice meals with ingredients from the local farm stand and food co-op, and the kitchen was well-equipped with cookware/tools. The views of the lake out of the living room window and from the deck were beautiful. We found it easy to drive from the house to many nearby towns for shopping/eating/exploring and to area beaches and lighthouses. The house really had a great vibe. Hats off to the host Jill who was responsive and thoughtful from before our booking to throughout our stay. We would recommend this house for those looking for a cozy and well-located homebase in the area. We hope to return!"
Discover Coastal charm, just a quick 26-min drive away
10/10 Excellent
"This is a lovely little place to stay in the heart of downtown. We particularly enjoyed sitting at the patio table in the morning with coffee."
Maine Waterfront Cottage: Nestled on an acre of land, with 500ft of shore front
10/10 Excellent
"What a great place! So relaxing, yet so close to everything. From morning kayak runs to wonderful restaurant recommendations from our host Dave, you can't ask for much more. We were two couples and had to fight for the king room, but once that was settled, we had a wonderful time filled with new memories. At the top of our list for this area when we return."
Peaceful Intown Studio ~ Walk to Shops & Dining
8/10 Good
"The room was clean, the location is very good, easy parking. The kitchen was sparse and there were no tea bags. It was a little noisy at times- I could hear the people upstairs and the outside traffic."
Midcoast Maine apartment perfect for exploring the area's treasures!
8/10 Good
"This is a nice and well-located place, with a couple of fairly minor drawbacks:The upstairs bathroom lacked a screen and with the hot weather we were unable to open that window, which was somewhat cumbersome since the bedroom window was blocked by an upright air conditioning unit that didn't particularly fit the casement window. The AC itself worked well, which was necessary as there was no cross ventilation with downstairs. In addition, had low water pressure and hot water was limited if anyone was using the downstairs water. The property's excellent location, light, spaciousness and large deck more than offset the minor inconveniences. We would recommend this place and would consider visiting again,"
Maine Bed & Boat, NEBI on the scenic Damariscotta River
10/10 Excellent
"We have enjoyed time on Olga’s and Chip’s boats in Damariscotta for a number of years, and every year it is a highlight of our summer. Olga and Chip are always so responsive and helpful with any questions we have, and make us feel so welcome. We love our time on these beautiful boats on the Damariscotta River, and love spending time as a family enjoying the incredible views, swimming in the warm waters of the Damariscotta, and exploring the wonderful restaurants and shops in this lovely town. Thank you, as always, for a wonderful vacation!!!!"
