Great hotel in quiet area

We had a great time at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. They gave us tips on what to see in Jaipur, an introduction to the different local food at beeakfast (there are also international options lile eggs, bread etc.) and the room was clean and comfortable. It's located in a quiet area. Only thing to comment on was the pool area. Lots of birds and some bird poop around. The gym was also a bit small with only cardio machines and hand weights, but it was totally fine for a short workout.

Property was very good. Restaurant was good, but buffet was rather small and restaurant was very chilly. It was New Year's Eve and so the place was too crowded for my taste. Also the shopping arcade in the hotel was just okay. Had to get a small heater in our room to maintain the temperature. TV didn't have cable or streaming capabilities. WIFI barely worked in the room though it worked in the lobby. WIFI was more of an issue than it should have been for a hotel this size and caliber.

The staff is nice depending upon who you get. We stayed on the 2nd floor. Corridors carpets were filthy but rooms were ok. No bottled water. You have to ask for it. Wifi is just terrible. Just doesn’t connect. Bathroom amenities are also limited like no conditioner, no facial tissue, limited towels. Bathroom dated but functional. Looks like somehow a lot of tourists are ferried here. On the plus side breakfast and dinner buffet is good and restaurant is good service. Overall value for money is not so good

The only good thing was the location. But the overall experience was bad as the air quality of the room was really bad like the rotten/damp smell. The mattress springs make noise. The hotel sense of arrival has trash all around and is a heavy distractor. The staff training for service is non existent. Telephoned don’t work. Can’t order room service . The night manager was outstanding helped us out. I will not ever stay in this hotel again.
