This stunning home, on three acres, boasts wrap-around porches, leaded glass windows, four fireplaces (non-working), and intricate woodwork and moldings throughout. This postbellum beauty retains its historic charm while offering present day luxury and style.

    Enjoy the fully equipped chef’s kitchen (with a granite island and 4 bar stools), top grain leather sofas, two large smart TVs and a third large screen bedroom TV. There is a stunning formal dining room. There are six bedrooms as follows: 2 kings, 2 queens, and 2 separate triple bunks. There are amazing lit porches all around which offer: comfortable seating, two different outside dining options, a large charcoal grill and an extra-long porch swing. In addition, this historic house and its neighboring guest house (a separately listed vacation property, see Graceful Southern Guest House) share a fully furnished pergola with romantic string lights and a working fire pit. Come step back in time, relax and enjoy the fresh air and majestic trees.

This house was absolutely beautiful and wonderful for a stay. Very spacious, provided for guest to have separate spaces. Loved the reading material. Would stay again if opportunity arises. I’ve never had to give such details, (tag numbers, persons in each vehicle), for a rental as I did for this one. That was quite time consuming. But—-/it was a great stay. A wonderful host, patient with all my concerns. Highly recommend this rental.

Siblings get-away

Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood, in a great location. Short distance to supermarket, drug stores, etc... House was stocked with all the needed amenities. I would definitely stay here again.

This is such a beautiful home. Perfect place for family to gather and still have personal space for everyone. I highly recommend this property for anyone visiting Jacksonville. Lori was easy to work with. Excellent communication.

Orange park

Property was clean and comfortable. Close to grocery stores and restaurants . There were 7 of us staying there and we had plenty of room. There was a problem with the hot water and we messaged the owner they responded back very quickly .

Overall, we had a pleasant stay at this Vrbo. The property was clean and generally well-maintained, which made for a comfortable visit.That said, there are a few areas that could use improvement. The mattresses were on the softer side and could benefit from being firmer for better support. The kitchen, while functional, felt disorganized—utensils and tools seemed randomly placed, making it harder to find what we needed. It was also missing some basic essentials like a whisk, measuring spoons, and measuring cups, which would be expected in a rental like this.Additionally, while the stove was operational, it appeared worn, with melted knobs that detracted from the overall quality. Upgrading to a newer stove and refreshing the kitchen equipment would go a long way in enhancing the guest experience.With a few updates and better organization, this property could easily be a top-notch stay.

Buddies golf trip

We were a group of 6 buddies in our mid 60’s that rented the main house as well as the guest house for a golf trip to escape the Northeast winter. Both properties were well kept and immaculately clean and in close proximity to golf courses as well as restaurants. The outdoor space is outstanding with multiple locations to sit outside and enjoy the day or evening. Lori was responsive to any questions we had throughout the stay and went to great lengths to recover a lost cell phone and express mail it back to him. Would highly recommend either property to anyone interested in them singly or together.

Beautiful Home Perfect for Reunion

Home is as pictured. Lori prompt in responses. Parking is an issue if you have four vehicles that are large, but we managed - just have to move vehicles on occasion to get out and around. It was perfect for five sisters and three spouses to reunite and have a fun-filled week. Lori shared a bit of the home’s history with us which was most interesting. I highly recommend booking.

Family weekend

We traveled to Jacksonville for a monthly family gathering, which typically includes 14 people. The house was the perfect size as it offered six bedrooms and lots of square footage for everyone to move about. We spent most of our time on the outside deck which wraps around almost the entire house. Everything that you could possibly need for a great stay was at your fingertips. From forks and spoons to pots and pans, towels, blankets, and everything in between could easily be found, thanks to our hostess Laurie for offering such a beautiful and historic venue for us to enjoy.

Family Time

This home is beautiful, the cottage also beautiful and both were well supplied, comfortable, well furnished. A couple issues, one the hostess of our home was not quick to respond/communicate, there were multiple TV’s in both locations but no instructions on use especially when there are two remotes so we didn’t have use of them, no checkout instructions and when we inquired with our hostess we got no response therefore did what we want done in our homes. The property is beautiful, lots of porches with comfortable furnishings in all areas. One other item, sleeping really is for 8 adults and 6 children as the bunks are very small and stacked with 3 which is pretty high for kids trying to get into and out of bed. Overall, recommend this home….more positives and just minor negatives that easily be dealt with.

Our families enjoyed this lovely home. Everything is clean, the beds are comfy, plenty of towels and a well equipped kitchen. The grounds are lovely and well kept. Although it was a little too warm to sit outside, there were several inviting areas on the wrap around shaded porch. The host is very congenial and responsive. We would stay here again.

We truly enjoyed our time in this home. The manager of the property was always responsive. Check in was seamless. The house is amazing. It was close to everything we would need. The kitchen was well stocked. Best of all, no laundry list of check out procedures which was super helpful as we had an early morning the day we departed. I would totally stay here again.

It’s just a lovely house. Everything was very clean. The beds are really comfortable. Nice porches for sitting outside in the morning. A large yard for kids to run around in. We were visiting family in the area and the out of towners stayed at this house - group of adults with some kids.
