We love visiting Amelia Island and staying in the Omni plantation area. However this was by far the worst rental we experienced and I would not recommend it. The unit is clean yet outdated. There is no kitchen, just a sink and a microwave with some kitchen utensils. The sink is very tall and not sure how someone short her than 5.4 could use it comfortably. The bathroom is spacious and probably the nicest part of the unit.
However within minutes we noticed a lot of tiny ants walking across the bathroom. Like a lot. I texted Vacasa and they replied right away that they would send someone to spray. They never came. We also had a fuse blow up making all plugs unusable. It took us some time to figure out what to do.
But the worst of all was the total lack of sound proofing with the unit next door. We only had a passage door between us and we could literally hear all what our neighbors said and so did they. It was embarrassing.
So I would highly recommend Omni rentals, just stay away from this unit. There are many other options around that will make your stay much more enjoyable.
