Best Family Holiday Location

We were truly blessed to find this property to spend our holidays together. Plenty of activities for the whole family and space to relax. If you are looking for a peaceful, comfortable, fun atmosphere to reconnect this is the place you want to rent!

Great house

We enjoyed Bryan’s home from the moment we drove down the driveway and opened the front door. Great yard and amenities including the golf cart to get around. Great communication throughout.

Property owner made our stay great - so helpful

The property was great - roomy and well supplied. What made it really special, though, was the thoughtful help provided by the owner. Charlene went out of her way to help me correct an issue with our booking, and to make sure our stay was perfect. She even left us a personal note and bottle of wine to welcome us. We'd definitely stay here again.

There were a few things that we didnt like,,,,but I have already commuincated these issues to the owner. And she was very open to any and all things that needed attention. Lovely home......beautiful area. Great restaurants in Ferdinina Beach. Salty Pelican is great! Davids lovely and delicious

Home away from home

We could not have asked for a more perfect place to spend our annual visit to Amelia Island. Bryan, the host, is incredibly responsive and generous, replacing a major appliance in one day (!) and making sure we had everything we needed. The house is beautifully laid out, with space for everyone to be together, or not, as the day goes on. The property is generously outfitted with bicycles, golf carts, beach towels, and everything you'd want for a day at the beach. It truly felt like our home away from home. We're already planning our return!

Wonderful stay

The home was clean and spacious. Charlene was easy to contact and quick to reply. We didn't have any issues, but she did care enough to ask if we had any questions and let us know to reach out if we did. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. Beach access is nearby. The golf cart was a great benefit getting to the beach, shops and mini golf. We had an awsome time in the backyard oasis. We spent most days enjoying the pool and hot tub and in the evenings we grilled out and toasted marshmallows around the fire. My family was very impressed with the home and amenities! The only complaint is having to leave.

Great time at Beachwood 29

All I can say is Great! Everything was better than I even thought it could be! My dog loved the spaciousness of the house and the fenced in back yard! There were 3 couples and we never got in each other’s way! The kitchen had everything we could ever need! The golf carts were a big plus! Bryan was on point! Anything we needed he had a super quick response time! I would recommend this house to anyone! We loved our stay here and will return!

Beautiful Vacation Home!

My family had a wonderful time on Amelia Island and the house was beyond what we expected. It was so clean and well kept that we felt like we were the first guests to ever be there! The house had anything and everything you could need while on vacation. The pool and spa were great and the golf carts made going to the beach a breeze. The neighborhood was nice and quiet and we enjoyed taking our daughter for a stroll around the neighborhood every morning. The area had a great selection of shops, restaurants and activities. Charlene was so kind and helpful with any questions we had. Such a wonderful person to work with! We would love to visit the island again soon and specifically stay in this home!

Great house!

Our family of 6 really enjoyed staying here. Having the pool and hot tub right in the back yard was wonderful and we used them everyday. The drive to the beach is very short on the golf cart and we loved having the golf cart to drive around the plantation. We also loved having all of the bikes to use! The house was lovely, and we will definitely rent this house again. My only suggestion would be to ask the cleaners to do a deep clean. A lot of dust on air vents, fans, window corners etc... Fantastic house!! Looking forward to coming back!

Spectacular!

This was the most awesome home we have ever stayed in. The kitchen was well stocked with tons of cooking utensils (pots, pans, coffee pot, dishes). The decor was absolutely beautiful! The layout of the house was wonderful & worked well with my handicapped Mother. The pool & hot tub was beautiful & felt amazing especially in the evening. What a way to relax & wind down the day!! The beds were soooo comfortable.. we all slept so good! We loved the golf carts & bicycles. Charlene (the owner) was wonderful to work with.. Lord willing, we will definately be back next year! Most enjoyable in many ways

This is a spacious & comfortable home with a lot offer. The beautifully landscaped & well appointed patio is the star. A refreshing pool, a relaxing hot tub and an outdoor kitchen provide a lot of options. We enjoyed the fire pit, too. The beach is a 15 min walk via the tree-canopied paths in the peaceful, lush neighborhood. Or take the golf cart included with the home for a 5 min ride to the beach access. We enjoyed riding the bikes provided to explore more of AI. At night during leisurely strolls in the neighborhood, we could hear the ocean’s waves. The house allows a lot of room to move around in your own space or shared space with others. Plenty of fluffy towels & decent bedding plus a generous supply of consumables (which many rentals don’t offer). Didn’t use the kitchen much since AI offers many good restaurants. Charlene is very responsive as needed; but no communication during our stay due to her good planning & forethought. We’ve stayed on AI before; we found the Omni Resort to be more desirable than the north end of AI. Don’t hesitate to book.

Relaxing and Wonderful Stay

The Plantation was simply beautiful. We could not get over how stunning the entire property was. The Georgia trees covered the streets so there was natural shading when driving, biking or walking. The home itself was beautiful, warm and cozy. We were provided everything we needed, we did not need to bring anything but our clothes. There were enough bikes and two golf carts for us to use and explore the plantation. We used the golf carts to visit the beach which was only minutes from the house and were so fun to ride in. The Beaches are dog Friendly so we brought our small dog with us each time. We were a family of Four and each morning and afternoon we used the bikes to ride around the plantation, we especially liked to ride to the shops and take a look around. My husband and I played tennis at the tennis facilities at the Plantation and one day we all played miniature golf. Late in the afternoon we would all try the hot tub as it was too chilly to use the beautiful pool, but we certainly had fun using the hot tub. At night we all gathered in the large family room to watch TV or a movie. All 3 bedrooms were warmly decorated and the beds were all extremely comfortable. In the morning I enjoyed sitting in the dining room with my coffee or outside in the back yard overlooking the pool. Charlene our host was very lovely, she made us feel at home and was extremely accommodating. The local restaurants were wonderful and we also enjoyed Fernandina's historic district shops and restaurants which were only 15 minutes by car from the house. If we do get the opportunity to come back to Amelia Island, I can't imagine staying anywhere else but at this home.

We had a great stay at this vacation rental in Amelia Island! The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The pool and golf cart were awesome extras that really added to the experience. We had a minor issue with the pool during our stay, but the owner was incredibly responsive and had it resolved within an hour. Great location, great communication. we’d definitely book again!

Great Stay

We had a great stay at this location. We had my kids as well as my mother and father and we all enjoyed the house. Everything was clean and it was stocked with everything you’d need from kitchen supplies to pool toys and beach chairs. It was perfect. Check in and check out was easy and we will definitely plan another trip back.

Was a great stay. Weather wasn't as warm as we had hoped so didn't utilize the pool. Kids enjoyed spa. Having a golf cart to travel the neighborhood was great. House is great.

Perfect Vacation!

Me and my husband and our two adult children just returned from the most wonderful vacation at Amelia Palms. We loved every minute of it. I agree with all previous rave reviews so instead of repeating, I will just say the house was beautiful, spacious, convenient and the "little touches" that Charlene left us made us feel even more comfortable there - like we were truly her guests. Welcome messages, a nice bottle of wine - There were many products left there for our convenience - everything from paper towels, toilet paper, Kleenex's, plastic wrap, foil, to GREAT and CLEAM kitchen small appliances - sharp knives, dishwasher, laundry and hand/body soaps, shampoos, conditioners... these little things added to a stress-free and comfortable stay. There was even a net available to us so that we could easily remove the leaves out of the pool. We were in Florida in mid-August and the weather was so spectacular that the pool water temp was actually cool! Perfect way to end the day at the beach. We used the bikes and golf carts and hot tub. Did not use the new grill, outdoor TV or fire pit but they were clean and ready for us!! We had NO issues and I particularly appreciated that we were allowed to rent the house for less than one week. I also recommend going to the Omni Resort Spa for a massage and taking an Amelia River Sunset Cruise for an even more spectacular stay in Amelia Island. Do not hesitate to book this gem!

Family Beach Trip

An annual event but the first time we have stayed here. It is in the Omni and perhaps one of the nicest properties we have stayed at. I gave 4 stars for cleaning instead of 5 as there was a light or 2 that could use some dusting. The home was lovely but the bathroom situation was not ideal. While it lists 3 bathrooms, there is a Jack -n- Jill bath between 2 bathrooms and a very nice enclosed outdoor bath with shower.

Family vacation on Amelia Island

Charlene is a wonderful host. Very acommodating and kind. The house is BEAUTIFUL. The pool and hot tub are a huge perk. Amelia island is the perfect location and the house is in a luxury resort property, so you can take the golf cart to the beach. We will be back💕

Wonderful place

Major renovations-A home run! From the inside to outside, magnificent! Amazing time grilling at the new outdoor kitchen while children were in the pool and other adults watching a game on the new outdoor TV. Amelia Palms is definitely the place you want to go to relax and recharge. The golf cart and bicycles provided during our stay were so much fun. We will absolutely be back and real soon! Thank you Amelia palms for a much-needed vacation!
