"I loved the size of the unit. It has microwave and small refrigerator and sofa. Bed were soft and pillos too. But The hotel didn’t provide you with showers cap or essentials and there is not safe inside the bedrooms. You has to go to the counter to have safe. That also did not provide you with sleeper or bath robe. I think it is a 4 start hotel because of these reasons I mentioned. Breakfast is ok with average food very basic."

"Sorry I had to give Marriott Hotel these “terrible” reviews… When you arrive at 23:00 and have an important appointment next morning, early morning that is, the last thing you want to hear from the Receptionist is that there are no rooms available for you, despite you have paid in advance for it. And they simply denied accommodation… indicating a new hotel for me. Plus they told me to walk alone to that place. I was totally uncomfortable with that, midnight is not a nice view - sort of full of homelessness in Downtown Philadelphia! Had to call and pay for an Uber, as I didn’t want to risk anything. On the bright side of things, the new accommodation was gorgeous - Element Marriott Bonvoy - and above my booking (received a lovely 1-bdr apartment, 33rd floor, absolutely fantastic view and amenities!! Overall amm is well when ends well!"

"This hotel would be great, but they have a serious problem with their key card system — either staff doesn’t know how to program them correctly or there is a programming problem. Regardless, we needed to get our room keys reprogrammed repeatedly for a one night stay. Also, downtown Philadelphia has a serious homelessness challenge so the area including feels a bit like it’s in lockdown including the hotel. Finally the hotel pool is no longer in use, but is hidden behind shades along with another very large space, all on the same floor as the gym ,so that the property feels like it’s seen better days."

"Beautiful hotel in an excellent location for our visit to Philadelphia. We lucked into a top floor corner room, and had amazing views of the river. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, especially Bryan at check-in, and we loved James at the hotel bar. The hotel has a gorgeous pool and sundeck, which was a big hit with the kids in our group. Did not have a chance to use the fitness center, but it looked well-maintained and clean. Fantastic coffee shop inside with plenty of small breakfast items and fresh baked goods (even a vegan scone!). The full restaurant has a very nice looking breakfast buffet on Sunday. Our room was very clean and had a comfy king bed. The bathroom was large with plenty of counter space. No microwave in room, but there is one downstairs in the sundries shop if needed."

"My reservation was guaranteed for 3:00 PM check-in. I arrived at 3:15 PM and my room was not ready. While one of the desk clerks was very apologetic, I had to wait until 3:40 before my room was ready; that is not acceptable. It really is a bare bones hotel where the only amenity is a coffee machine in the lobby. While the price point is modest, I will never stay there again."

"Functional and comfortable bed. Small room though. Arrived in room. My remote didn’t have batteries working and body wash was almost out in the bathroom. So a bit lax in prepping the room Overall works and good location. Great shower pressure. Would stay again."
