The location is a plus—about a 20-minute walk to the Blue Mosque and Grand Bazaar, which made sightseeing easy.However, there were several issues. I did not receive check-in instructions before arrival, despite messaging the host the day before. When I arrived, I had to wait outside with my luggage and repeatedly message to get the building code.There was also confusion about the unit. The listing said third floor, but I was directed to the second. When I checked the third floor, it had not been cleaned (dirty dishes and used sheets), so I stayed on the second floor.Communication was poor throughout my stay. After check-in, the host stopped responding to questions about basic things like hot water, heating (the room was cold), and plumbing. He also tried to move communication to WhatsApp instead of the Vrbo app.Additionally, there appeared to be black mold in the bathroom, which is concerning.Overall, while the location is convenient, the lack of communication, check-in issues, and cleanliness concerns made this a frustrating stay.
