We loved the place. It was very clean and good mattress. The shower was great and a lot bigger than the one we had in other places we stayed. It is so close to the two famous mosques and the basilica cisterna and anything else so it is a great spot to explore. You are in the heart of it all. It does get a bit noisy at night as it’s at the end of a busy bar street but the price does reflect this in our opinion. I slept through most of it and ear plugs did wonders. We would stay again for sure. Overall great place for the price we paid.

The hotel and the room are very clean and comfortable. Very well located, a short walk to Aya Sofia and the blue mosque. The staff are very friendly, specially Mr Ahmet at reception, very polite and helpful, gave me good places to visit and where to eat at very reasonable prices. Happy to stay again for next trips.

Great little hotel in the heart of Sultanahmet! Perfectly located for all things touristy, and the staff were incredibly accommodating, letting me check in early and helping arrange transport out. Highly recommended!

Friendly staff, great location, noisy at night

The best thing about this hotel was the rooftop terrace. Some chairs and tables on the terrace. Terrace was mostly private and no one else was up there. Stunning view of Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, old city wall, and Bosphorus from the terrace. Staff was very friendly. They were able to give us recommendations and call us a taxi. 5-10 minute walk to Hagia Sophia, and also a 5-10 minute walk to the Bosphorus area. The hotel is on a street with a lot of restaurants, shops, and pubs. Very noisy late into the night. The hotel has a lobby and a man in the lobby at all times for service requests and for security. Breakfast is not included but there are restaurants nearby. Hotel was clean. Room had AC unit, a mini fridge, and TV. Bed was just okay.

The owner Hamit and the manager Jaleel were absolutely friendly, courteous, accommodating and helpful with info regarding other travel destinations etc The hotel is cosy and neat and cheap for the location with cafes and restaurants all around Would definitely recomend it

Everything was just great!!e and my family liked the hotel. The front desk staff was really friendly and nice people! They helped us with everything including getting the ride to the airport. We got really nice shuttle bus! The hotel room was really comfortable and great! Really liked it! The area around was also great! Many good restaurants and shops. The property managers were absolutely awesome. Both gentlemen treated us so kindly and attentively, constantly checking to see if there was anything we needed. Gul Sultan has an awesome location. 10 min walk to the main attractions. The staff are warm and helpfull, especially Sherhan. The property is wel maintained and looks recently renovated. It is a small quaint place. The rooms are a bIt tight but very clean. Bahroom also was very clean. The property sits on a main thoroughfare with lots of restaurants, cafes and pubs... which makes the area quite busy.... but I think that's practically all over Istanbul Would I stay here again?
