「A good roof over your head with a lovely breakfast provides a great foundation for the perfect holiday. And for this reason I have to give Ethel high praise for looking after me, my wife and daughter, during our four-day stay at the Newport Quay B&B Hotel. The comfortable king size and single bed in our bedroom suited us well, including the en-suite bathroom - all clean and ship shape. Breakfast in this 17th century Grade II listed building was served before 9am and included cereal, a fruit...

「The owners could not have been more helpful The propery was spotless and free parking on site was a great bonus The location was very good within easy walking distance to all local amenities The steps could be a problem if your mobility is limited, but this was pointed out when booking All on all a great place to stay」

「Very comfortable, warm hospitality, and tasty breakfast. We would like to stay longer next time. 」

「Lovely owners. Wonderful breakfast and a great location.」

「A lovely place to stay, the room was large and luxurious, airconditioning, roll top bath, separate shower and comfortable king size bed. Breakfast was great and the owners were lovely. Highly recommended.」

「A band was playing until 11.10pm on Friday night which was above the legal 11pm time limit.. (this was the time I was told this would be the time the band would finish. My room was above the band- so it's worth avoiding that room! It was called “Port” Breakfast was ok other than the mouldly brown bread, I didn't check if the kitchen was clean. Didn't get breakfast on the 2nd morning as I arrived downstairs at 9.15 am - doors all locked up. The room was clean and tidy - staff friendly」

「The room we stayed in was clean, modern and well equipped. Upon arrival there was milk and water in the fridge plus cake. Tea, coffee water and biscuits were replenished every day. There was a good choice on the breakfast menu which was delicious. Although there are three rooms in the property, there is only off road parking available for two cars and one car blocks the other in. However, there are usually spaces on the road as well and it would not put us off staying at No.29 again. A lovely...

「A fabulous short break no bad points at all. Will definitely return.」

「We had a wonderful stay at The Havelock. The owners are lovely people. Very friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. The room was excellent, with a sea view, plenty of wardrobe and drawer storage. The ensuite was spotless, as was the room. Breakfast was extremely good. Full English and scrambled eggs cooked to perfection. The Havelock is in an ideal location. Close to Shanklin Village, and the beach. Which is handy if you have some mobility issues. I would certainly recommend this hotel to...
