We booked very last minute so there wasn't time for a lot of communication prior to our stay. But we were sent all the information we needed to check in. We chose the house bc of the location (my daughter owns #8 32nd Ave, and we were having our family Christmas there). When another daughter was able to get flights from Minnesota, we needed more bedrooms, so I booked this.

We had a great time running around Charleston taking in the sites also eating at restaurants that we had gone to in previous years. The location was far enough away and in a quiet family friendly neighborhood yet close enough to the city.

Enjoyed our stay very much!

Wonderful cottage style beach house. Three blocks from walkway to beach.The only thing I would change is getting a Keurig for single cups of coffee and an ice maker is needed. Otherwise, great!!!

The perfect beachy property for a much needed getaway!

This property was gorgeous, spacious, clean, and the perfect spot on Isle of Palms. We enjoyed reading, drinking coffee, and laughing on the porch every morning. We also loved that we could walk over to the beach. The island itself is DARLING and this was a great spot to put us right in the center of it all. Would 100% come again!

Great family home

Very cute classic island/southern home. Lots of pink, shells, palm tree decor. Can tell a “real family” has made a lot of memories there. Good overall layout. Great location close to beach. Convenient to Mt Pleasant family.

Great place

Enjoyed our weekend. The porch was a big plus where we hung out all weekend. Only shortfall was that the beds hurt our backs. Possibly too soft. However, I will plan to stay there many times in the future!

Perfect place for our family

We had such a wonderful time. This home had everything we needed. The porch was perfect for my two Granddaughters ages 1 and 3 to play. Love the way the home was decorated. the area was awesome for taking strolls and seeing all the Halloween decorations. will definitely be back.

Great location, but in need of upgrades and deep clean

This home is in a great location in Isle of Palms. We love the residential feel of this area and the proximity to the ocean. We were disappointed in the overall cleanliness and condition of the home. Despite cute photos, the home felt in need of a deep clean, general maintenance, and upgrades of the furnishings and household items. We had a nice time, but would not stay here again.

Great house and location

We enjoyed our week stay at this house. The beds were comfortable and a short walk to the beach. We loved the front porch and were out there majority of our stay. My only issue was the condition of the front porch. It needed a good power wash or some sort of mopping. Will keep this house on our list for future rental opportunities.

Great place ideal location

This is a beautiful property in an ideal location! The house is clean and spacious. The front porch is wonderful to sit on day or night. We really enjoyed staying here for a friend’s wedding.

Fantastic beach house!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had 8 in our party (4 adults, 4 children) and the house was exactly what we needed/expected for our beach week. Easy, quick access to the beach, wonderful front porch, outdoor shower, and fully stocked kitchen. Would definitely return!

Great Porch

The property is very nice, close to ocean access and on a quiet street. Best part of the home is the expansive screened porch. We spent all our evenings on it.

Great house and location.

We enjoyed our stay at this home on the Isle of Palms. It is a convenient walk to the beach. We loved spending time on the front porch. The air conditioning unit needed repairs during our stay and Sweetgrass Properties went above and beyond to make us comfortable until the issue was resolved.

Great location

The main advantage of this property is the walkability to the beach. There was a sufficient number of bedrooms and bathrooms and the extremely large front porch was great. The furniture, however, was quite uncomfortable and we were pretty achy after a week’s stay. Certain amenities, like beach chairs and towels, should really be made available for those traveling from a distance. The proximity to the beach was really the primary factor for us staying in this house.

Great location

Great beach house for the money! It’s exactly what you want: 3 min walk to beach, outdoor shower, huge porch w hammock. House is a tad older with some clutter but exactly what we expected for the size/money. Everything was clean; linens were comfy. The only drawback was the grill could have been bigger. My family and I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for your hospitality!

Beautiful Beach Retreat in Isle of Palms

What a gem! This location was PERFECT for our girls-only trip. The large screened in porch is a lovely location for early morning zen time or after-hours hangouts. The property was very clean, and easily accommodated our group of eight. The A/C system proved to be the perfect reprieve from the sticky, humid late August air. Don’t miss the wonderful outdoor shower, which you can access from the back porch, it’s under the stairs. Check-in was easy and the beach is less than a five-minute walk away. The stroll from the beach entrance to the sea is beautiful and the beach itself is simply breathtaking. The house is a ten-minute drive to the grocery store and bars/restaurants but it’s about a thirty-minute walk, so you'll want to rent a car, if possible. If you’re traveling with a group and plan to stay for a few days, pick-up some extra toilet paper, paper towels and garbage bags, we ran out quickly and couldn’t find any extra supplies on site.
