We had the most incredible stay at this beach home – it exceeded every expectation! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by, the tasteful décor, and thoughtful touches throughout the house. It was sparkling clean, spacious, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway.The outdoor space was a dream – perfect for morning coffee, evening cocktails, The pool and outdoor activities were fabulous and we loved how peaceful and it felt. The hosts were responsive, welcoming, and made sure our stay was seamless from start to finish.This home is truly a gem. Highly, highly recommend!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

We had an adults only weekend getaway at this property. It is absolutely stunning. The pictures on the listing are beautiful, but the house is somehow even better in person. The property has high quality furniture, appliances, and kitchenware/dishware. There is plenty of room in the common spaces for everyone to sit and mingle. The beds and furniture were extremely comfortable. It is convenient to many restaurants, a grocery store, the beach, and it is a just a short trip to downtown Charleston. The property manager was extremely responsive and went above and beyond to find a family bowl that we had left at the house. It was everything we could have wanted or needed in a property. I would absolutely stay at this property again, and I would highly recommend any property managed by Carolina One Vacation Rentals based on my experience with them.

Family Vacation

Our family had a wonderful vacation at 2602 Hartnett. The house was everything we expected and wanted. The home and property are very clean and well maintained. The kids loved the pool and golf cart!

Beautiful Home Fully Equipped

This home was perfect for our family. Nicely decorated with all the comforts of home. We enjoyed breakfast on the screened porch each morning. We also utilized the grill one night to prepare our fresh catch. The giant TV and super comfy couch made family movie night a hit. In addition to a private pool this home has everything you need for the beach - including the golf cart to get you there. We even practiced on our short game on the putting green by the pool. We love this property. We would like to suggest to homeowners/property managers to repair the loose vent cover in the living room. Our children kept slipping and tripping over the ill-fitted cover and I eventually just placed a ceramic table from the porch over it. Lastly, since the property is listed as “no pets allowed,” we did not expect to find the couch on the porch speckled with dog hair and tufts of light colored dog hair all around the decking. We all have dogs and we figured the HO does too. However, there could be renters that choose the property with expectations of zero dog dander.

Perfect family trip

This was a perfect vacation rental for me and my family. The home was very clean and was able to accommodate our family of 8. The home is a short walk or golf cart drive to the beach. And for days we weren’t at the beach, it was great to have the option to stay at the house and use the pool. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

You Get What You Want, and Need

Overall, great house. Plenty of room for 10. Great amenities and a wonderful location. Property management was very active in communication and the entire process was smooth and painless. Additional gear rental credit was a nice touch as well. We were able to add 5 bike rentals to our stay for just a small delivery fee. The were there when we arrived, and were quietly picked up the morning of our departure.

Isle of Palms Beauty

This is just a lovely place to stay. The home is beautiful and very comfortable with lots of room for three families to spread out and do their own thing when the weather outside was less than sunny and warm. It has a wonderful kitchen. Luckily we decided to pay extra to heat the pool, so got lots of use out of it despite temperatures in the 50s. The location offered very convenient access to the beach, Sullivan Island, downtown Charleston, and other places of interest. Would absolutely stay here again if we ever have the chance to return to Charleston. There is now a real coffee pot in the house contrary to previous reviews and also some pool toys.

Great beach home

Overall, the home was wonderful. The floor plan is great, furniture is new and the house was very clean. Elevator was helpful for the older people in our group. Kids loved the pool, ping pong table and putting green. Access to the golf cart was nice for getting back and forth to the beach. Location in Isle of Palms made for easy access to Charleston. Our only concern is the house did not have any items for the beach (ie, chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, buckets, shovels etc.). We were flying from out of town which meant we had to buy or rent everything for the beach. We would stay here again.

Spacious, immaculate, and perfect for a family beach week!

The house has everything you need and more. The pool, putting green, and the ping-pong table kept us busy when we weren't at the beach. The house has many living spaces that allow a large family to Spread out.

Very nice home, a few minor issues

The home is very nice, and we would return if headed back to Charleston. It was very clean upon our arrival. It was also well provisioned. However, there were a few minor issues. The management company called us ahead of our arrival to welcome us, but also to inform us that the cable tv and Internet were not working. They said Comcast had been notified (Sunday) and they would come to repair the next day (Monday). On Monday a management company came by to try to repair, but Comcast did not come. On Tuesday, Comcast arrived and found that (locked in the owners' private garage storage room) the service was plugged into a ground fault electrical outlet that had been tripped. A simple press of the ground fault reset button fixed the issue. But, we had 2 days with no cable tv and Internet. Then there was the Keurig coffee maker that did not function. It flashed a light that it needed to be descaled, and would not produce coffee. We went and purchased a new one for the week. These issues were minor, but keeps me from giving 5 stars. As I said this is a very nice house, and would return if we ever go back to Charleston for a week.

Fantastic Place / Lots of Extra Charges

If you don't mind being nickeled and dimed, it's a great place. The home is fabulous. It is in a decent location (nothing to walk to other than the beach 3 blocks away), but it does have a four passenger golf cart, which is nice. However, it is not a typical HomeAway rental where the rental was by the home owner. A property management company lists the property and there were hidden charges that were more than I was expecting. The "extras" which included the cleaning fee, a reservation fee, accident insurance, and a pool heating fee increased the cost by 48%. Still a great place, but pricier than it appears on HomeAway.
