Easy access to the beach! There is an ocean view and you are close enough to hear the waves. The condo does not have access to the amenities of the resort. That was a bummer, especially since the fitness center is in the parking lot. The bathroom could use some care and also the overhead vents in the entry way. Not horrible, but a little worn. The management company was very responsive when I told them there were no coffee cups. They brought us some immediately.

202E Excellent!

Smooth checkin process. Condo was beautifully decorated. Faced south at community pool. Some afternoon sun but the HVAC system was awesome for 100 degree South Carolina weather. Can hear ocean. Had ALL the essentials.Close private parking. Comfortable king bed for me, spouse and 6 year old. Great shower. Quick walk to beach. Will be back, thank you!

A few spring days at the beach

We enjoyed our stay and the location of the VRBO. We would recommend it to any one looking for a retreat. The ocean view from the room is only from the bedroom. We will be back.

Wild Dunes area

Isle of palms is beautiful buy disappointed there is no public parking in the Wild Dunes community so accessing local shops and restaurants around the Wild Dunes Resort was not possible being that we were staying at the eastern end of the island.

Tennis and ocean getaway

We had a wonderful time in Charleston! The property was as described. It’s a great location. You can watch the waves from your bed! The screen porch is great except old screening. My husband was bitten alive with no see ums. Bring bug spray! We were on 2nd floor, unfortunately for us , the people upstairs sounded like a herd of elephants. Very stressful.

Great location

We stayed here in March of 2025. The best part is the proximity to the beach and the view from the bedroom. I brought my elderly parents with us and it was easy access to get back and forth to the beach with the added bonus of an elevator. The interior of the condo has been very nicely updated. The shower tiles and back splash in the kitchen are beautiful. The building itself is an older building and could use some updates including the doors leading into the condos but overall we were very pleased with our stay! We plan to return.

All the conveniences of home

Nice big bedroom, updated kitchen and bath. Great view of pool and beach. Plenty of natural light throughout. Some features were dated/worn/dirty such as heating vents in ceiling, baseboards and doors.

Charleston trip

The place was very nice and a great location. The only downside was the constant beeping from the villa next door. There was a fire or security alarm that sounded the entire weekend.

Needs attention

Great location, great view from screened in porch. Easy access to beach,golf courses, groceries and restaurants. Nicely decorated space, lots of upside potential, suitable for 2 adults or a family with small children. In need of maintenance, peeling or missing paint on doors and trim, base boards falling off or lying on the floor, extra floor boards visible from under only bed, bathroom had bubbling paint on walls and water damaged ceiling with mold,kitchen backsplash and countertop in need of caulk, stovetop light didn’t work, one light switch is a mystery. Pots and pans were visibly dirty and needed to be washed, as did walls near trash can, dishwasher was full on arrival (but had been run). Missing some essential amenities such as blankets and Kleenex, 1 roll of paper towels, extra batteries for remotes.

Long weekend

Stay was nice overall. Condo was a little dated and could hear people above and below. Location is great with a nice screened porch. Missing a cleaning supply. Would stay there again.

Pretty Nice

We enjoyed our stay! Beautiful area, easy check in/out. Condo has been nicely updated and had all that we needed. :) Beach chairs were a bonus (wish we would have know they were there, as we wouldn't have bought and brought new ones). Overall, Port O' Call property needs a little love as it appears to be an older building. Condo needs a deep clean (behind/under things and vents/ledges... bathroom fan etc) and a little maintenance (caulking/paint in bathroom which isn't vented correctly for showering). The front door sticks (very hard to open) and the screened/louver door looks so worn that it should be removed. When we arrived, the pool water was very low and pool was pretty dirty (tree leaves/sand/stains). Pool door lock system wasn't working. Hoses for rinsing off sand from the beach were broken/ripped.

Great Location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The price was reasonable, location is great and the beach is very peaceful. The unit was nicely appointed, clean, and provided easy access to the beach, pool, and guest parking.

Nice location, unit in need of attention

Good location to get to and from the beach and pool. Easy to get into the neighborhood and unit. Sadly, the unit had several deferred maintenance issues including a screen missing from the screened porch so wasps and bees and bugs made it so that the screened porch was not comfortable to use, beeping dryer randomly despite several attempts to troubleshoot it but by the second day we figured it out after several YouTube videos (dryer filter needs to be cleaned on the top/no air flow), and we were disappointed in the level of cleanliness (the flooring and shower was very dirty.) The shower does not drain so we were standing in 1.5 inches of water every shower and built up sand in corners from previous renters. The unit has water stains and trim moldings are damaged/moisture swollen due to moisture issues with HVAC? Blinds on far left of living room would not close and the master bed was extremely squeaky/uncomfortable. The pocket door between living room and trundle bedroom does not close. Elevator smelled like rotten fish. This was on the higher side on cost and we felt it was just not in the condition we anticipated. We will not be returning based on our experience with the units condition.

Lovely area. Complex is very comfortable. Beautiful view(Beach/pool) walking biking swimming all very peaceful. 1st time in area for a wedding & we hope to visit that area again in the future!

30th anniversary trip

The condo was very bright, clean and well equipped. The bed was very comfortable and the view of the ocean from the bed as well as the screened porched was awesome. It was very quiet and relaxing which is just what we needed. I would definitely recommend this listing and would stay here again.

Great location

Wild Dunes is a great resort, close to the beach, This property had everything we needed (except tissues) but needs some updating. The updated shower was great. The bathroom vanity needs some TLC (painting?replacing?) The kitchen appliances were new and very nice. The bed/mattress was old, dated, creaky. The entry screen door was gross. It seems the slats and screen were painted and stuck together. The drapes need replacing in the living room. A lot of painting is needed. The living room was comfortable but only one lamp worked. We enjoyed our stay, but would prefer staying in a more updated unit.
