「The hotel is actually a former student residence for a nearby college. It is a bit basic but one really can't fault it, everything works very well. There isn't an on-site restaurant serving breakfast, etc, but there are kitchens on each floor, I left milk in the fridge for breakfast. The nearby art gallery has an excellent restaurant, and there is a Morrisons supermarket close by. It is right on Greenock Quay, it is a perfect place to stay if going on Waverley trips by steamer.
