"Ocean View is nothing what the pictures show. Definitely needs to update pictures. We had booked 4 different rooms all four were very dirty one we noticed 2 cockroaches. Not enough towels were left in rooms, safe box didn't work in 3 rooms back sliding door did not lock at all. Very unsatisfied with our stay at this Hotel."

"Located in the Golden Zone, the hotel is a 5-minute walk from the Malecón, plus lots of stores and restaurants, which made shopping, day trips, and taxi/Uber rides a breeze. Overall, we had a wonderful time and can't wait to return to Mazatlán. Staff were incredibly friendly (about half spoke some English), and the restaurant, Condimento, offered a massive, delicious breakfast buffet that includes excellent Mexican and American food, plenty of fresh fruit, plus hot and savory dishes. Sandra and Adan took great care of us and made us feel welcome everyday. Angel, who runs the pool side bar, did a lovely job anticipating our needs and ensuring that we were comfortable lounging in the cabanas. We spent our weeklong stay in a spacious Junior Suite that had a spectacular view of the ocean, perfect for watching pelicans dive and hunt. Small note: our wing of the hotel was immediately next door to several restaurants and La Rosalía, which is a nightclub, so we were a little worried about noise during our first night (Saturday) given all the mariachi bands performing on the beach and parties we could hear all night, but thereafter it was rather quiet for the rest of the week, with events wrapping up around 10-11pm. Plenty of fantastic mariachi musicians during the day, but nothing that interfered with sleep or resting up for day excursions. (From the hotel courtyard, you can hardly hear anything except the ocean quite frankly.) Honestly, a week isn't long enough for this gem."

"Elegimos su hotel esperando recibir el nivel de servicio y hospitalidad que los caracteriza; sin embargo, nuestra experiencia de bienvenida fue sumamente desagradable. Durante nuestro proceso de registro, el trato por parte del personal de recepción fue deficiente. En particular,con nombre Arturo “ Esta persona se dirigió a nosotros con una actitud sarcástica, grosera y cero profesional, lo cual nos generó una gran frustración y estrés innecesario tras nuestro viaje. Entendemos que el personal puede tener días difíciles, pero el trato despectivo hacia los huéspedes es completamente inaceptable y mancha gravemente la imagen de su establecimiento. El inicio de nuestras vacaciones familiares se vio opacado por esta situación que pudo haberse evitado con una atención cordial y respetuosa."

"We got a suite with ocean view and the room was very clean and comfortable. For my taste the actual bead was pretty hard but over all the room and staff was very nice. Restaurant has pretty good food "

"The 2 positives for this property are its extremely kind and caring staff plus the cleanliness. However, the property is 'tired' and needs remodeling; the noise level is constant from early morning salsa classes with groups arriving from cruise ships to blasting beach bands all afternoon into early evening, there is no quiet, anywhere. The pool is very busy and there is no beach sitting. The food is just satisfactory and thankfully there are many very good restaurants within walking distance. It is a time share location but with mini suites and rooms for general public stays. For a short one week vacation, it may be an option, as it is in the golden zone.. for longer vacations, it is questionable. Because the staff were so very good, I would like to give this property a good rating, alas, it still remains 2*"
