We stayed here for 6 nights with my family of 5. The good: 1. It is close to Yellowstone, Island Park Reservoir, Henry's Lake, and Hebgen Lake. 2. Cabin has lots of books, DVDs, and the kitchen is well stocked. 3. Quiet subdivision with some trees for privacy and walking distance to the Buffalo River. The bad: 1. Mattresses are old and we all had trouble sleeping. Many mornings we woke up stiff and sore. Even my high school son. We did everything we could to make the beds tolerable adding blankets, pillows, etc. Nothing helped. 2. The key pad and front door locks are a nightmare. It took several minutes each day to lock/unlock the doors. The keys just fall out of the lockbox and one day they fell under the porch. That was fun climbing under there to retrieve them. PLEASE get a better lockbox and upgrade the door locks. 3. The house is pretty old and not made very well. When someone is on the second floor it is very loud and squeaky. 4. There is too much furniture for the space. The couch has recliners but you can't put them out without moving the coffee table, which then takes up most of the living space. 5.
The bathroom was not clean. There was orange mold in the shower. Overall, a good place to stay, just not sure we would go back because of the lack of sleep.
