Fun in the FL Keys

We had such a lovely time at this wonderful property in Islamorada. The location was perfect for everything we wanted to do and the property was clean and had everything we needed. It was such a cute beach getaway!

All of the Basics in one Bungalow

We had a great stay in Islamorada. The Bungalow met all of our needs. All of the very basic necessities were provided. No frills but clean with warm shared pool and easy access to everything nearby. Owners were very responsive for the couple of questions we had during our stay.

Very nice place in a noisy spot.

Super clean and well appointed. Too close to the hwy, pretty loud road noise. Not an issue at night but don’t plan on sleeping in.

We had a great stay. The place was very clean and cute. Great location. The pool was a nice little perk. The host was very accommodating and replied quickly. Well definitely keep this place on our list of favs. 🙂

Cozy little bungalow with bikes to cruise the old 7 mile!

Such a nice cozy place! We enjoyed the bikes which had a baby carriage for our venture down the old 7 mile highway. Pretty much center of Keys too so enjoyed getting to explore and not having too far to drive back.

New Florida Bungalow

We found this property to be a great central location for visiting all the attractions in the keys. Halfway in between Pennacamp State Park and Key West. Nice restaurants and shops in Islamorada. The pool was very nice, we really enjoyed it. The beds were very nice, and a good selection of pillows. It was a nice quiet neighborhood.

Perfect Bungalow

Beautiful 2 bedroom bungalow, perfect for family vacation. Nearby semi-private pool is great for lounging around. We had a small issue with our original bungalow but host was very responsive and immediately helped us out. Great property, great hosts we would definitely book with them again.

Intimate cottage feels

This cluster of cottages is a small “community” within a neighborhood off Highway 1 in the Keys. Very close to things you need like restaurants, grocery and close enough to beachy areas like Sombrero Beach on Marathon or Bahia Honda a bit farther south. Loved the quiet pool and our fire pit for those cooler January nights. The neighbors seemed to be a mix of permanent residents, boaters, renters and snowbirds. This is ideal for couples and maybe kids who don’t mind sharing a small double (full) bed. If you want distance from your roomies this might feel tight or if you’re a king bed sleeper the adjustment might be hard for you. I’m pretty selective and found this to be . comfy and well-equipped for my needs. I don’t cook large meals on vacation so the compact kitchen worked just fine. Appreciated the blender and decent coffee pot, great sink and stovetop, full sized fridge.

Perfect Cottage for a stay in Florida Keys

Please note - the address is Overseas Highway, but to access the property, you have to go to Cortez Dr. Booked for 3 days to visit with family living in Islamorada. We were so pleased with the accommodations. Very clean, small, but plenty of space. Fire pit, swimming pool, washer/dryer, kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals (great for breakfast with grandkids), comfortable beds, nice shower, cold A/C (so cold you might need a throw blanket). One of the nicer rentals we have stayed in, a lot of bang for your buck. The check in was not so good. Had to contact VRBO to help us find it and get the door code. We drove around for a long while trying to find it and could not reach the host. The host did respond thru the app later, but at that point we were already in the house and did not see the messages because we had no other issues. The host called on our check out date and apologized for the issues. We were a little late on the checkout and host was accommodating. The house worked out perfectly for our needs. We will book again for our next trip and would recommend to friends/family going to the Keys.

Great Place, but be mindful of check-in process and info

Great place, clean, convenient, good location. We had frustrating issues with check in and getting any check in or check out instructions. We never received key access codes, and were not able to get into the property until an hour and a half after we arrived in the area after a 5 hour drive. We tried contacting the owners via VRBO, phone, and text, and left voicemails; VRBO customer service could also not reach them. Finally when the owners called us back, they had stated there was a tech issue with VRBO and that they could not access the app all day (I had no issues). While that is understandable, I would think the prudent move would be for them to proactively call customer service to ensure that somehow the access codes and information would get passed along to me, rather than me and VRBO having to chase them down. And also, be mindful of guests trying to contact them especially around check in time. Again, overall a good place and I gave it 4 stars because it was overall positive, but the check-in issues were frustrating as we looked to start our vacation. I do recommend if that is not an issue in the future for them and their guests. PS - if the issue was a VRBO tech issue, then VRBO bears some responsibility to rectify the situation for both us and the hosts.

Great family bungalow in convenient area!

2 adults, 2 kids stay. The bunglaow was very comfortable for us, one of the cleanest properties we've stayed at via VRBO. Pool area is very nice and conveniently located. This place is within easy driving distance to multiple restaurants, beaches and activities. Would stay again!

Short visit to wonderful Islamorada

We were happy to find this property when we put in our dates. Very cute bungalow conveniently located near all the activities and our favorite restaurants. Well designed and very clean. The pool is lovely and the bicycles much appreciated. We’ll be back.
