"My 27 year old son and I came to visit Donegal, the ancestral home of his father’s family. We spent 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed Buncrana. We drove up to Malin Head through stunning scenery and visited sites in and around Buncrana. Julie was a kind and accommodating host. The property was well appointed with comfortable beds and a full kitchen on the outskirts of Buncrana. "Beautiful location overlooking Lough Swillly. Golf course and beach are 2 minutes away.
Loved staying at the house with great facilities and really comfortable beds.
Liam is a very accommodating host, always available and checking that we had all that we needed.
Highly recommended!"

"A beautiful large spacious house in a lovely idyllic setting.Cold - tepid water throughout the building. Tvs not working. Dirty drawers. No condiments -not even salt or pepper. No wine glasses, no wine opener. No dishwasher detergent pods.Bathroom bar collasped with old bolts.Deck chair broke in the windy conditions. We spent no time out there. Unwelcoming malfunctioning palace. Sad"

"This was a lovely spot. The accomodation was basic but really all that is needed. We did not have any hot water for all our stay however. We called (no answer) and left a message (no reply). This was a bit disappointing. The bunk beds look practical but with one person on the bottom bunk and one on the top sleep was hard as everytime one of us moved the bed would creek and wobble. "

"Beautiful location with direct beach access.
Could do with some TLC around the property along with more kitchen utensils, mugs, pans etc.
Could only find a couple of towels for 8 people, fortunately we had taken a few with us."
