Very friendly staff, pleasantly surprised as pictures on website don’t do it justice. Room spacious but basic. Half board good value, nice food although small amount of choices. Breakfast room lovely and good choices. Walking distance to shops and restaurants.

Great stay very friendly and helpful staff walking distance between Porto and pointe perfect in the middle of both plenty of dining options pool and spa staff were very friendly and helpful didn’t miss anything was worried because a lot of reviews were misleading but they were not at all. Gartenanlage und Lage zwischen zwei grünen Parks ist wundervoll. Gesamte Anlage eher etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Nachtessen im Saal, der an ein Altersheim erinnert eher vermeiden. Personal ist nett und zuvorkommend.

The hotel is in need of refurbishment and doesn't warrant a 4 star rating as there is nothing special about it. The breakfast was ok, but again there was nothing special about it. There was one choice of cheese and it was the processed 'plastic' type which is not what we expected in Italy. The breads tasted of nothing and the toaster doesn't work unless you want melba toast after a 5 minute wait as the bread was so thin. Plenty of choice of croissants, cake and salad if that's what you like for breakfast. It said there was a shuttle bus to the beach, but this isn't true. We ate dinner on the first night but it was in an uninspiring room and the moment you finished the course, the next one was there in seconds and the food was mediocre. The beach we were told to use is a good 20 minute walk away and comprises of a thin strip of sand and regimented rows of sunbeds, consequently we went once for about 10 minutes, very disappointing. The saving grace of this hotel is the staff

Si quieres descansar y dormir este no es el lugar adecuado, hay ruidos y gritos del personal del hotel desde las 8 de la mañana. Se oye todo. El hotel necesita bastantes renovaciones. El personal es amable pero haciendo balance no es un lugar al que volvería y no lo recomiendo.

Her var det rent, hyggelige omgivelser, god frokost og ikke minst et meget hyggelig personale! Veldig god service fra alle! Smil og gode samtaler, hjelp til å finne fram til de forskjellige severdighetene på øya....gode anbefalinger! Manuela og Sabina i resepsjonen må nevnes, gjorde oppholdet uforglemmelig!

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Essen und der Betreuung des Personals war hervorragend.Leider gab es ein großes Manko für mich. Die Matratze des Bettes war steinhart und obwohl mir die nette Dame von der Reinigung 3 Decken darauf gab, konnte ich vor Schmerzen leider nicht gut schlafen.

Superbe séjour à l'hôtel San Giovanni !

Superbe séjour à l'hôtel San Giovanni. L'emplacement est idéal, au centre ville d'Ischia, proche du port et nombreux restaurants et plages. L'hôtel est de bonne qualité, la piscine et le jardin sont très agréables. Le personnel de l'hôtel a été extrêmement sympathique et nous a donné de très bons conseils (visites, restaurants). Nous recommandons vivement cet établissement !
