Hector's Point-New Modern 1 bedroom suites in Iona

We just finished construction on these contemporary 1 bedroom, 1 bath suites, 2021 is our first season. Each unit has a full kitchen with a dining bar, and a large 200 sq. ft. deck, offering spectacular views of the Bras d'Or Lake. Large sliding glass doors and oversized windows make these cozy suites bright and airy. Many of the furnishings were custom built in our woodshop. We are only a short walk to the popular Frolic and Folk Pub & Restaurant for great dining and live entertainment. Across from the Pub, visit the Highland Village, a Gaelic living history museum and cultural center. Sun and swim on one of the many beaches within a few minutes of Hector's Point. Centrally located on Cape Breton Island, there are many attractions close enough for a day trips, including Baddeck, The Fort of Louisburg, Eskasoni & Whycocogamah cultural Centers, Bird Island Boat Tours, & Sydney.

Great Days at Hector‘s Point

The cottage was beautiful, super clean and equipped with everything you need! Janet is a professional hostess and always on hand with advice and assistance. We loved the days, but especially the terrace with the "pets" - the eagle, the fox, the collibris. Hector's Point is highly recommended.

The very best Cape Breton has to offer

Over the top doesn't begin to rate this property....everything we expected and soooo much more! Our hosts were VERY accommodating. We will DEFINITELY be coming back next year. A 5 out 0f 5 rating is a bit low in our books....I prefer to rate as I TRULY see things. This was a belated birthday present from me to m foe my 68th . Exceeded expectations

This was our first stop of our Maritimes adventure. Everything was perfect about this little piece of heaven. It was exactly as advertised, very new, clean and organized. Waking up to that view surrounded by gorgeous fall colours …breathtaking. Janet went above and beyond anticipating our needs. Highly recommend!

This cottage is superb! View, cottage itself and everything else! Janet is a very welcoming host and the view from balcony and bedroom is unique and spectacular! There is even a bald eagle couple visiting the the trees close to cottage! Enjoy!

Oh the view!

Beautiful, well appointed, very clean. The view was breathtaking. Local bald eagles flew by every day. Great location, central to lots of attractions. Would highly recommend.

Excellente demeure, propreté super, confort très bien. Environnement parfait, une vue superbe! Éloignée de tout par contre. Tout y est pour la cuisine, manque de rien. Il pourrait y avoir une petite table pour manger ( pas toujours facile de monter sur un banc. Dans l’ensemble nous avons beaucoup apprécié. Propriétaires très gentils.

Relax and enjoy the view

Ideal location for us to enjoy the area and visit family and friends. Plus the location itself is perfect for just kicking back and enjoying a wonderful view of the lake. Janet and Rob are excellent hosts ,provide a welcoming atmosphere and met all of our needs before and during our one week stay. Highly recommend this location for sure. We will be back.

Great place to spend a weekend away

Very nice, clean and bright cottage. Amazing view from the front deck. Janet was very nice and helpful and easy to communicate with. She even brought us some fresh baked date squares. We had a great stay and would definitely go back
