「The hotel is extremely dated. Note that there is a large annex, so if you are in a “garden” room, you are not staying in the castle, it is an outdated 1980s annex. The bathroom had a sink that had been broken and poorly glued back together and a very dirty fan. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and could have used a mattress topper. 「The Inn is easy to find with ample parking. My concerns centred on strong, damp like smelly in my room. Curtains that couldn't be closed properly. With the main door not being locked at night, security was very poor. I was woken by a disturbance outside my door during the night it was very unsettling. All these issues might have been easier to raise with staff had they been approachable. It took the duration of the trip for the person at reception to smile and be friendly. Would definitely not...

「It would have been good to be aware of check in process in advance of arrival. The hotel wasn't signposted, so had to phone the number provided, where we were told to visit another hotel reception, where we be provided with our key and directed to our own hotel. While the room itself was relatively clean, there was no hot water either via the shower or sink. The TV only allowed you to caste via your phone.」
