Beautifully Appointed Scottish Cottage with Open Fire, Comfy Beds, Conservatory and Garden
Cherry Trees is a beautifully appointed cottage full of charm and character, with the shores of Loch Fyne just at the end of the driveway. The picturesque garden, complete with a small stream crossed by a charming bridge — and a much-loved tree swing — creates a truly storybook setting. The cottage comfortably sleeps up to six guests across three bedrooms: a kingsize room with a four-poster bed and dressing table, a double bedroom with en-suite shower room, and a twin room. The main family bathroom features a beautiful roll-top claw-foot bath — perfect for relaxing after a day exploring the area. With generous living space throughout, Cherry Trees is ideal for couples, families or multi-generational stays. The sociable dining kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need for a self-catering break, including a dishwasher, fridge freezer, coffee machine and washing machine. There's also a cosy reading corner and radio for relaxed mornings or quiet afternoons. The main living room is beautifully styled with classic Scottish touches, comfortable seating, an open fire and a Smart TV, along with a selection of board games for cosy evenings in. At the opposite end of the cottage you'll find a bright conservatory with a large corner sofa — a wonderful space to unwind after a day of exploring. With its nautical theme, telescope for stargazing and a second TV, it's also a great retreat for teenagers or anyone wanting their own space. Outside, the private garden is perfect for enjoying long summer evenings, with the tree swing and charming stream adding to the cottage's magical atmosphere. The cottage is mostly set on one level, although there is a small step up from the conservatory into the kitchen and a step down from the kitchen into the double bedroom. The remaining rooms are level, with the family bathroom conveniently located off the hallway between the twin and kingsize bedrooms.
Dogs are very welcome at Cherry Trees - but please note that the garden is not fully enclosed. The section behind the property backs onto woods (great for walking/running through!), and there is no fence here.
There is no restriction on the size/breed of dogs you can bring. We are normally limited to 3 dogs per stay, with the first charged at £30 per stay, and any additional dogs charged at £10 each. We ask that you confirm in advance the number you are to bringing, leave the property as clean and tidy as you find it, and please do bring throws etc to cover soft furnishings if there is a chance your dog will try and jump up.
Other pets are welcome too - so whether it's guinea pigs, hamsters or something altogether more exotic, please just ask (we have heard most requests before)!
