Tranquil oasis minutes from many conveniences

What a beautifully well-kept home full of history and charm- with enough sitting spaces and entertainment options to keep children through older adults relaxed, connected and full of enjoyment. Loved the game barn, pool, home theater, and all the charming seating areas sprinkles throughout the home and estate. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We hope to return!!

Baseball tournament with families

Great location. The house was awesome. We loved the pool and hot tub. The boys were never bored and the movie room was an added bonus. The barn has a lot of things to do but was very hot in the daytime. Will not hesitate to stay here again. It is a beautiful property. The extra touches and amenities we had were well thought out by an owner who cares.

50th Birthday Party

We had a wonderful time with our family during our stay. The house and barn gave us a great place to host our friends and enjoy quality time together. The location of the house made it easy to eat out at some great, local restaurants. The only draw back was that it was winter and too cold to enjoy the pool.

Beautiful property. Immaculate. We had a family meetup for a weekend with two families and the grandparents. Home was spectacular. Super clean and well kept. Grounds were gorgeous. We would rent it again in a moment.

Perfect Family Retreat

This is our second stay at this property and it has been affectionately named “ the reunion house.” One of our four year olds is already asking when he can go back to the house. Owner was very responsive and quickly handled any concerns. Wonderful experience.

The house and property were beautiful. Accomodated all 17 of us. However we did have an ant issue in the kitchen and a mouse in the pantry ate our bread. The dishwasher didn't work but I would still rent it again. It was clean other than those problems. The host was very responsive.

Back in Time with all the Conveniences

We loved our stay at Woodside while in town for our son’s wedding! The barn, the pool, the exterior property-all gave us plenty of room to enjoy ourselves. Exceptional Home with Lovely Back Yard

This was our 2nd time staying at this amazing house and it was just as wonderful this time. The host is fabulous and great and communicating. The house itself is well decorated and you feel as if you are staying in a family members home. The grounds are exceptional and the pool was so nice. We all really loved every minute of our experience and will be back!

Beautiful home with the most magical barn ever!

We enjoyed our stay there to celebrate our sons graduation with family and friends. The home is beautifully decorated and has all of the comforts that you could need! We really enojoyed the theater, the heated pool and all of the games in the barn. My only suggestion would be that more towels are provided, not only for the bath but also for the pool as there were not enough for our large group. Also, I expected to see 4 twin size beds in the "boys" room but actually there are 2 beds and 2 trundle beds that pulled out from underneath the other beds making if quite uncomfortable for our teen aged and young adult children.

Family gathering for wedding

This was an amazing, beautiful, spacious property for our extended family to stay together as we celebrated a wedding. Lots of indoor an outdoor gathering spaces and also plenty of spaces for quiet breaks. The kitchen was extremely well appointed. The party barn was such a cool space! The pool was a really fun addition. The location was very convenient to shopping and the highway. This was truly the perfect space for us- we just loved it.

The 1861 Farmhouse was a delight!

Our family of 13 ranging from 2 to 68 stayed at the 1861 Farmhouse and it was perfect for us. Something for everyone. Great layout to accommodate everyone. It was super well appointed. The home maintains the historic character with all the modern conveniences. Grounds were beautiful. Host was excellent to work with. It clearly exceeded our expectations. Simply can't say enough great things about this property.

We constantly commented to each other, how well equipped this property was From the history of the house and the barn, to the pool and the 4acres of running and hiding places, this family retreat has it all. Great Family Weekend

It was the perfect location and accommodation for a wonderful weekend of making lots of memories with all of our (married) kids and grandkids. There was plenty of room for everyone, and the house was clean and well-equipped, with a rich sense of history. The property host (Heather) was extremely helpful, responsive to questions, and very easy to work with.
