This is a cute canal front cottage with a glimpse of Burt Lake. The canal is deep enough for a boat and there is dockage at the cabin. It is walkable to Devoe Beach and the restaurants,bars and shops of Indian River. We walked to Northland Brewing one evening. The back area is open with tables, lights, music and 3 food trucks. There is easy access to I75 and to other communities in the area.We found the cabin to be clean and well supplied with kitchen items, paper products, bath soaps, etc. We also pack these items and found we did not need them. The outside deck area is nice though we didn’t use it as the evenings were too cool. We contacted the host for a minor issue and got an immediate response. We spent 2 days on Burt, Crooked and Pickerel Lakes fishing with quite a nice catch.We lived in this area for several years and it was fun to see our previous neighbors and go to some of our favorite spots. We would definitely rent again.
