My dad and I stayed here and incline village while I underwent cancer treatment in Carson City. The home was spacious warm filled with light from the outside and gorgeous views of the mountain. Couldn’t be more happy with my experience. If I had to nitpick, I would say that the appliances should probably be updated to create a better in kitchen, cooking experience for anyone wanting to spend multiple days. And it was difficult to find adequate lighting for Certain walking area areas between rooms. Outside of that it was pure magic.
This house was absolutely perfect for our quick little family getaway to the snow. Location was perfect to all the shops it was even close enough for us to drive into Reno. Also this is a dog friendly location but you would never guess by the cleanliness of it.
The place was very simple and a bit dated but I found it very comfortable and clean and the property is located at the top of a gorgeous canyon. It’s super steep to go down but worth it.
We really enjoyed staying at this house, was perfect for group.
4/5 stars for a lot of dog poop around the property. We picked up a lot of it when we arrived
The property was beautiful. We were so pleased that we are ready to book for next year. The air is fresh and the neighborhood is so friendly. The entire stay was so peaceful and serene. We would have stayed an extra 2 weeks had they not been booked
The house is in a nice neighborhood. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and eating. It's less than 10 minutes into town and only 15 to California where there are more dining options. The house could use some mataintenance and updating. All in all, everything worked fine.
First of all, the cleanliness was a 10. Staff super helpful. Price is as great. The neighbors were so kind and helped us with info on where to go for great snow. The house was more amazing in person. We will be staying here again.

Great layout, mid-Century Tahoe home
The house is well designed for a pleasant alpine stay and gatherings. The furnishings are dated but workable. The home looks across a ravine with filtered lake views, and the master bath and bedroom take advantage. The pocket doors are a bit clunky, it’s a well worn home that still enables fond memories.
Lovely home, so many windows and so private and quiet. The house is very very nice and has the basics. We will be back and bring our dogs. Close to lots of nice places to go, restaurants, the lake. Note that you will want to bring laundry detergent, pot holders and kitchen towels. Otherwise the basics are covered just fine.

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
House was filthy Pet stains everywhere. Long pet hair on blankets. Clogged shower drain.
Large rooms, 2x living spaces, large block with views / open space out back. Quiet neighborhood, easy access to ski slopes, shops and hiking. When built, the house was highend with built-in modcons (toaster, can opener, etc) so yes, dated now. But still very cool, clean and a great space. Bathroom for each bedroom. Too large for us but we spread out and enjoyed our stay very much.
The house could be exceptional, but it’s not. We had several functional issues. The electric stove burner was apparently shorting out and threw sparks out, after which only two other burners then worked. One of those two had a small fire underneath when used on high. The door to one of the bathrooms didn’t close at all. A Light switch shocked me. The dryer doesn’t work. Lighting in the home is poor. Many light bulbs were either burnt out or simply did not turn on. The ones that did turn on were rather dim. Would have been nice to have Wash cloths for the bathrooms. You get one kitchen towel. The grill outside is a nice one, so we enjoyed getting to use that. The fireplace is nice too. We appreciated that the home is pet friendly, and had a garage that we could use.
Heating system kept the home cozy.
The house is in dire need of TLC and updating. Overall it served its purpose. We would stay there again if we knew some updating took place, including a new stove. Recommend one without exposed burners.
You can see from the images what your'e getting into, we knew this home was older and funky.
Problems: The house was so dark, with every light turned on it was hard to see. Every room has its own heater and it took a long time for house to warm up. The tv downstairs did not work. Super funky.
Good: Clean, nice neighborhood.
Thus house was perfect for us. Lots of room to spread out, plenty of bathrooms, very well equipped kitchen (we cooked Thanksgiving dinner), good towels , okay beds, and best of all super clean! We would have given 5 stars but for a little deferred maintenance. Some of the window treatments needed repair. It’s time for a new dishwasher. And , there is not good reading light. Overall thought it’s a very comfortable, great house in a hood location close to everything .
Wonderful house to get away with the kids. Very safe and friendly neighborhood, quick drive to town, wonderful patios to enjoy the stars and wildlife after putting the kids to bed. Noticed other reviews talking about owners not picking up after dogs before the next renter arrives: the area and woods around the house is used by the whole neighborhood to run dogs, so I don’t think it’s the house owners/renters’ faults if there are any droppings nearby. Plus we got a visit from the resident neighborhood coyote! So, maybe it was a “nature calls” situation.
