Welcome to this traditional Majorcan house with private pool and beautiful outdoors in the countryside, in Inca. It has 185 m2 and capacity for 6 people.
The outdoors are beautiful: have a nice BBQ, swim in the 18 m2 private salt water pool, sunbath in the well-kept garden or just relax on the sofas of the terrace. The 30 m2 porch is a nice place to have a large breakfast or dinner. The lawn area is more than 60 m2, so your children have lot of space for playing. Furthermore, there is a swing for your kids, 2 sun umbrellas and 6 sun loungers. You can park up to 3 cars at the patio of the house. The sitting-dining room, the open kitchen and the bedrooms feature A/C.

There are 3 spacious bedrooms with double beds, 2 of them on the first floor and 1 on the ground floor. There are 2 cots and high chairs available, but please inform us before booking that you travel with 2 babies. The house has 3 bathrooms, one on the ground floor with shower, the second one upstairs with bath tub and one exterior bath with shower. There are 2 fans available, although due to the architecture of the house they are not too necessary.

The living-dining room is cosy and well-decorated. There is a CD-player, satellite TV, WIFI, a safe box and a DVD-Player. The kitchen is well-equipped: toaster, microwave, kettle, dishwasher, oven, cutlery, fridge and much more. There is also a laundry with washing machine, iron and ironing board.

A few minutes’ drive takes you to the city Inca, where you will find lots of shops, supermarkets, bars and restaurants. Inca is famous all over the island for the quality of leather products, its weekly market (Thursdays) and its “cellers” (restaurants with typical Majorcan food). The surroundings, particularly the Serra Tramuntana, are nice for hiking, jogging and cycling. A nice idea is a trip to the chapel of “Santa Magdalena”, at the top of a hill. There is also a good restaurant and a viewpoint.

Alcudia Bay is just 35 minute drive and it’s more than 30 km long. You will be able to find peaceful areas as Platja de Muro and lively beaches as Can Picafort, where you can enjoy a dinner seeing the sunset.

Summary: Außergewöhnliche Finca I liked: Die Finca ist sehr schön und mit zahlreichen liebevollen Details versehen. Die Vermieter haben sich bei der Ausstattung viel Mühe gegeben: Spülmaschine, Mikrowelle, Ofen, Klimaanlage mit Heizfunktion und der tolle Außenbereich machen den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm.

Pasamos 12 días en Finca Can Diego. Era simplemente impresionante. No nos hemos perdido nada. Los propietarios son muy amables, incluso recibimos una entrega de verduras de su propio jardín dos veces. A nuestro hijo de 5 años también le gustó mucho. La piscina estaba impecable. La ubicación de la finca también era muy buena. A 20 minutos en coche estás en la playa de Alcudia y a menos de una hora en cualquier parte de la isla. Recomendación muy clara para familias.

Paco and Conchi welcomed us like kings, they prepared a dinner with beverages when we arrived and showed us around. The finca is surrounded by many fruit trees and a beautiful garden. It is situated in the middle of the island with easy access to everything like hospital, supermarket, Palma... We will probably book the finca again because we were very content.

War ein toller Urlaub in ländlicher Umgebung. Das Haus ist super, sehr gepflegt und es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Auch der Garten ist ein Traum, der Pool wirklich sauber. Die Eigentümer, ein älteres Pärchen, haben uns mit gedeckten Tisch empfangen und uns auch während des Aufenthalts immer wieder mit frischem Gartengemüse versorgt! Absolute Empfehlung, vielen lieben Dank an euch, Paco und Concha!!!

Can Diego Villa - Fantastic Place and Wonderful Owners

The only thing that the villa didn't have was a kettle as they only had a coffee peculator and espresso machine although it wasn’t an issue, we just heated water in a pan or used the microwave. This was our first stay at Villa Can Diego and it was fantastic. The villa was a beautiful place to stay it was very clean and had a really cosy feel to it. It comes equipped with four spacious bedrooms, three bathrooms and a private balcony along with a very big garden, BBQ area and a good sized swimming pool. Upon arrival we were greeted by the friendly and wonderful owners who were very accommodating. We had previously arranged a hamper to be there upon arrival and they had prepared a wonderful Spanish Antipasto Platter along with two bottles of wine, a selection of soft drinks and lagers. They gave us a guided tour around the property and helped us to settle in. Every few days they then came back to clean the pool and did a general check but they were very helpful and nice people, they were Spanish so had limited English but this wasn’t really an issue as they both had translators on their phones. The location of the villa is quite secluded and is set quite far back from a main road so I would recommend hiring a car. We didn’t hire a car but we did manage to obtain a local taxi number for Inca Taxis who are located just in the centre of Inca, their number is: +34 971 88 10 20 should you require one, also you must state you are staying at Can Diego and they will know whereabouts you are located. The taxi company were great and it was less than 10 Euros from the villa to the centre of Inca where you have good access to transport links. Overall the holiday was great and we couldn’t have asked for anything better. It is the perfect place for a relaxing family holiday if you are wanting to get away from it all. We will definitely be booking again next year.

Una casa que encajaba bastante con lo que estábamos buscando, disfrutamos mucho del mobiliario exterior. Lo que no nos gustó tanto fue que el casero aparecía cuando quería sin avisar. Al hacer el check-in nos dijo que vendría cada tres días para cuidar las plantas, limpiar la piscina y tirar la basura. Pues bien, vino los cuatro primeros días seguidos sin avisar, la próxima vez que le vimos fue a la hora de hacer el check-out. Es decir, nos quedamos 4-5 días acumulando basura y suciedad en la piscina (insectos, hojas...) no apetecía mucho bañarse. No tuvimos ningún problema directo con sus apariciones sorpresa, cómo que viera a alguien desnudo,en ropa interior o ropa de baño, pero nos dió una sensación de estar expuesto cuando buscábamos todo lo contrario en una casa rural tan apartada. A pesar del descontento con la forma de trabajar del casero, la casa es una auténtica gozada, y el casero es un hombre muy simpático. Conclusión, hemos tenido una estancia estupenda con la única pega de que el casero aparecía sin avisar.

Wonderful stay at Finca Can Diego

We had a very relaxing stay at Can Diego. Could not find fault anything. Wonderful hosts who were very welcoming and generous. Beautifully kept interior and exterior with a refreshing pool. Just what we needed as a 'get away from it all' holiday. We hope to return.
