"This is a very lovely place to stay. The room and the bed were very comfortable. This is relatively recent building with nice decor, clean and comfortable with a pool, which I didn't get to try, but wanted to. The breakfast was very good and worth getting up for. They offer a variety of choices including hot eggs, bacon, oatmeal, waffles as well as cold choices. We would stay here again. Recommended."

"We had a nice two night stay in a clean comfortable room. Quick basic breakfast on site with a quick walk to the subway to get downtown without the hassle of bringing a vehicle downtown. Not our first visit to Monte Carlo and we will definitely be back."

"The hotel was passable and staff were nice enough but it needs updating and a deep clean, paint and repairs in all common areas. The furniture in the room was old and worn down. The beds are doubles not queens. Pillows were half sized. In-room supplies were poor quality and skimpy. The hotel was about $30 cheaper than any hotel in Toronto proper and I was trying to stay in the city on a budget, but having stayed there I wouldn’t go back. I’d spend $30+ more and feel like I got my money’s worth in a modern hotel closer to downtown, instead of spending $200 and feeling like I stayed in a hotel in the middle of nowhere that hadn’t seen an update since 1992. "

"The first time I was there, I found that the scent in the room was very strong. I contacted the management when I got home and told them it triggered asthma for me. They apologize profusely and explained that I could request a room with less scent in the future. This past weekend, I went back to the hotel and had requested a scent free room. They not only accommodated me, they told me it is now in my file moving forward that I will get that. They were kind and very helpful. I felt safe and comfortable."
