There are numerous scenic trails right on your doorstep, including routes through Combe St Nicholas and up to Neroche Forest, where ancient hill forts and woodland paths await. For a more challenging walk, head to Staple Hill – one of the highest points in the Blackdowns – and take in sweeping views across Somerset. The area is rich with wildlife, from deer to buzzards, and offers ample opportunities for photography or peaceful contemplation.
