"Rude staff at check in. Caught her in a lie. I was told I shouldn’t be booking through Expedia because they are a 3rd party vendor and requests aren’t approved. Unwilling to help me with noted medical condition. Room smelled unpleasant. Bugs in the bathroom. Wasn’t the best stay although I have been there dozens of times with no issues."
"Staff here were amazing, and the room had some unexpectedly good things like robes. They’ve done a great job with turning what we assumed to be a motel into a higher end lodging establishment, but it still feels a bit like a motel.
We paid for a river view room, it wasn’t the greatest view. The room was comfortable and quiet which was a huge plus. The morning breakfast was solid, and more akin to what you’d get at a chain hotel rather than a smaller boutique.
The evening cookies and milk were fun, and we opted not to try to the wine/cheese happy hour beforehand. All in all a solid stay, and it’s someplace we would stay again."
"We booked an oceanview room and the experience was not worth the expensive price. Pillows had some stains and hair strands. The vents looked dirty. There’s no AC but heat only. There is a fan provided. The wooded frames near the windows were peeling apart. The ocean view was not what was advertised given that the ocean was not direct view.
There were no issues parking or checking in. There is a microwave and a fridge. Overall, it needs more maintenance and better housekeeping. Not terrible but not worth the price at all."
"The photos and descriptions don’t do this property justice. This is one of the most beautiful and relaxing places I’ve ever stayed at. Would highly recommend this place. Hope to be able to stay here again but if not it’ll always be etched in my mind."
"The staff was very friendly, well knowledgeable about the service on the property including hotel , bar and casino. When we arrived in the lobby we were greeted with a cheerful and friendly associate. Check in was so easy. The Hotel has alot to offer. There is a grab and go breakfast. You do get a few items to choose from, which is nice. Coffee is always available. You do have the option of working out in the gym they provide, as well as swimming and hot tub. The restaurant and bar are very nice. We choose to eat in the bar as there was a live band playing. The food was excellent. Our suite was very clean. We enjoyed our stay very much. Slept well. We had a room w ith a view to the Ocean. Absolutely beautiful. You may also request a room with a balcony. . We love the coast, this was absolutely the best place to celebrate our Anniversary. Also you can travel to Crescent City and Brookings Oregon , they are both about 10 min one way 20 minutes the other. We will definitely be back. Thank you for such an enjoyable experience.
