"The room was very tired and dirty. The carpet was filthy and very stained. The toilet seat was yellow and sticky and previous occupants urine stains on the rim of the toilet bowl. My husband had to wipe the toilet rim and seat before we could use it. Disgusting. When we complained to the manager he shook his head and sent the young receptionist to speak to us. We asked to move rooms but they advised that the hotel was fully booked. We therefore checked out the following morning. "

"I booked for 9 people, 2 families, 4 adults and 5 kids. They provided 3 rooms, fitting 1 or 2 adults per room. Not the best idea if the family wanta to stay together. The rooms were clean, but very minimalistic and tiny. Reception was servicing french speaking guests first, then the rest. One of the rooms was not prepared for our arrival. I would never come back as a family, however i might stay as a single person."

"Pleasant Hotel in the centre of the beautiful town of La Rochelle. Nice personnel, safe parking for the motorcycle, great breakfast. There is also a courtyard where you can enjoy a drink outside."

"Very nice room. Completely refurbished with a very nice bathroom. Sadly the beds were very hard and not comfortable. The location of the hotel was great for visiting the sea front and local restaurants etc. Great breakfast."
