「Giannis was excellent - could not have been more helpful. The room itself was beautiful, partner found the bed a little too firm but I thought it was perfect. Free minibar was a nice perk. I wish the pool hours were longer but I understand from a liability perspective. The vending machine in the lobby was an excellent touch. Room was kept lovely and clean! 「The staff were friendly, kind and very helpful . The breakfast and lunch was good, The sun beds were very comfortable, 20€ for 2 beds plus 1 umbrella. Unless you were in the front row when it was 25€. As there was 3 of us no option but to pay for 4 beds ! Hotel situated in an ideal spot, bus stop 5, with an easy was into town on the lower road, Supermarket across the road. 「Wardrobe had a light in which kept clicking all night keeping us awake. People outside the hotel used the pool and beach seats making it difficult to get a seat. We did not get to go around the pool. Food choice was very poor if you are a vegetarian. Had the poorest food ever in Skiathos around the pool bar - tasteless chicken and cod bites. 「We stayed at Alkyon Hotel for 3 nights before travelling on to Skopelos and I couldn’t recommend this hotel more! It was so convenient being 5 minutes drive from the airport and on the sea front. It was less than 5 minutes walk from the main strip of restaurants along the front of the port but slightly out of the main town area so was quiet at night. There are quite a number of steps if you are walking from the pool or bar and restaurant area so may not be suited with those with accessibility needs. 「Nice and newly renovated property. Not too far from town, but not walking distance. We took taxis and the water taxi a couple times. Only disappointment was our rooms that had children booked in each were not placed on the same floor. I think they could’ve made a greater effort to ensure this since we booked well in advance. Pool side service also lacked enthusiasm but the bar was near enough that this wasn’t a great inconvenience. Would stay there again.」

「4泊しましたが、最初の一日以外はずっとシャワーの温度が低かったのと、ベッドの掛け布団がうすーいシーツ(シーツそのもの)だけで、その2点が不快でした。 また、スタッフに関してはフロントはとても感じが良かったのですが、初日ディナーブッフェを利用しましたが、部屋に戻るとき、スタッフに部屋にチャージしてね、と言ったら、OKとの事で伝票にサインをしましたが、翌朝朝食に行くと、別のスタッフが、昨日支払って貰ってないんだけど、と言ってきたので、部屋に付けたよって言うと、昨日貰ったサインは飲み物の分だけだから、じゃあこっちにもサインしてと別の伝票を持って来た。だったら確認した時に2枚持って来てくれないとこっちは分からない。朝から食べ逃げしたかの様に扱われとても不快だった。」
