The house was very spacious and had incredibly beautiful views! We loved the large windows, bright natural light and breathtaking views! The kitchen was clean and the appliances worked well. The property manager answered all calls/texts and was responsive to our inquiries even after we arrived! The dining room table was large worked well for our group of 10. There were plenty of beds for us as well. The living room had a large couch and lots of seating for our large group. The cabin was clean, although some of the rugs and indoor/outdoor furniture were a bit tired. The location was great! It was very private, yet close to town and nearby trails. We drove to Humbar park and hiked the Ernie Maxwell Trail which was so beautiful. It was an easy/moderate hike and was pet friendly. We had a wonderful time!

Great Weekend Getaway!

We arrived on a Friday and it had snowed that day. It was beautiful! We couldn't check in until 4:00 which was a bummer but we hung out in town until the VRBO was ready. The VRBO is close to town so it was easy to wlak to into town. The home is big and very spacious. The elevator was very helpful for moving our stuff to the second floor. The kitchen was nicely stocked with all the amenites. We really enjoyed our stay & want to come back in the summer.

Wonderful Time

Rented the property to celebrate a birthday. The property comfortably fit our entire party. The location was amazaing with amazing views of the mountains. The home itself is very private. The front garden fountain area is fully fenced and very peaceful. The property managment was great. They fixed any minor issue we had, and were generally unobtrusive.This location was amazing and would 100% book this again

Gorgeous Property and Views

Our family group of 16 stayed at this amazing, accommodating property for the week of Thanksgiving. The house was well-appointed, spacious and even had an elevator to accommodate our elderly family members with mobility issues.

Great for group

We had 4 families with young kids and everyone had plenty of space. Good communication with the property manager and amazing views from the porch. Really enjoyed our stay. Only thing that could use improvement is some of the furniture was kind of worn out. Also there were lots of rugs with curled up edges that would be a pretty bad tripping hazard for older folks.

Beautiful Stay!

Max 5 cars allowed on the property which made it incredibly difficult for 16 people to spend the night and move around for our wedding. Had a bad experience with our initial conversation with property management. We had ask to talk with the property manager numerous times and were ignored on that request. Outside of those two issues the property was beautiful and a great place to host our wedding party!

Beautiful Mountain Retreat with Scenic Views and Great Amenities

Our group had an amazing stay at this property! The check-in process was super easy, and the property itself was beautiful and well-maintained. We especially loved the hot tub and the stunning scenic views of the mountains from the decks—it made for a truly relaxing experience. The location was also perfect, with town just a short drive away. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful mountain getaway!

This could be an exceptional place with more TLC but...

The pluses: Gorgeous views and a great location. Bright and cheery spaces. Comfortable large beds for all. Nicely furnished common room and well-appointed kitchen. The elevator was a huge plus for a mobility challenged elder, and the hot tub was very nice after hiking. Sinks, ovens, and stovetop were fine for meal prep. The ping pong table saw some friendly competition. The minuses: if you don't think mice are cute, this is not the house for you. The house is riddled with them as demonstrated by the droppings that appear overnight, the pitter patter of races in the walls overnight, the bright-eyed pinyon mouse who peeps out from behind the TV periodically, the frantic efforts of the one caught in a live trap hidden in my room, and the smell of decay from a downstairs storage space that must also be filled with traps and their victims. The appliances need attending to: dishwasher was impossible to load and run properly until we found rack wheels in a drawer and fixed it ourselves. The dryer took multiple cycles to dry even a small load. The freezer constantly leaked cold water on the floor. The decorative outdoor stream doesn't work (leaks through the liner) and there is an underground beehive across from the front door. All that said, we are patient people and we had an excellent visit together. Please fix these items so others can enjoy the Pinnacle too.

Girls get away weekend

There were 6 of us on the first night and 8 of us the next night and it was an absolute BLAST. Everyone had their own bed and most of us had their own room. What a luxury! The views were stunning. The kitchen was very well stocked which we used a lot! It was really easy to pick up and drop off the keys and people in the office were quick to respond to my questions and concerns despite me struggling to get the paperwork to them on time (I was working overtime the week prior and had no access to a printer or scanner). I will absolutely book with them again in the future.

Beautiful property close to town

Gorgeous and spacious property. The photos do not do it justice and I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Plenty of bedrooms and space for all 16 people in our party. We mostly enjoyed the outdoor spaces and played games in the garage and living room. Several people said they want to book the same property for a family holiday or another group setting. The driveway was STEEP and although it says close to town, I wouldn’t recommend walking because the house is uphill. Incredible views with multiple decks to enjoy

Nice size house

The house accommodated 9 of us very comfortably. Had a nice big kitchen. Elevator was wonderful as we had two handicap people. The ice maker & coffee machine did not work which was a bummer. I think the management company should have known that ahead of time so we could have been prepared. The house had way to many throw rugs & the bad part was all the corners that stood up. People kept tripping. Lucky we didn’t have a fall. Also seems strange to have 5 bedrooms downstairs & 1 bath. Overall we liked the house. A gorgeous setting.

Everything was perfect

The house is really big, stocked with anything you might need in the kitchen, plenty of towels, a working spa and good bedding. The check in process was easy and the checkout ( 1h late as previously talked with the management company ) was a breeze. I highly recommend for family or friends gathering

Murphy family cabin

Great home for a large family or a big group. Big living room big kitchen and big dining table. Spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. Very steep driveway but plenty of parking. Would be nice if they would fix the elevator since the kitchen is upstairs and difficult to lug all the groceries up there. All in all we had a wonderful time, and created lots of new memories.

Home needs some TLC

Although this house has stunning views and is in a great neighborhood we had problem after problem with upkeep issues. I booked this home for two reasons, the spa and the elevator since we had an injured person with us. The spa was not working upon our arrival on Thursday, we were told someone would come Friday evening to look at it and we never heard from them so Saturday morning we had to call again only to find out that mice had chewed through the wires. The elevator was also broken and has been but we were not told that prior to our arrival and only found out after we called to find out why it wasn't working,. All of the deck railings are really loose and we were nervous about them because we had small children and with a good shove, they could have easily broken. The deck chairs are uncomfortable, extremely worn and in need of replacing. For paying a premium for this house, we were really dissatisfied with the disrepair of the amenities that it advertises. The spa was a huge disappointment because that was one of the primary reasons I selected this home. The refrigerator never stayed cold so we were constantly having to rotate through ice packs to ensure our food did not spoil. It is a gorgeous home with great views in a nice neighborhood and we did get a very small refund for the issues that we encountered but with so many things wrong with this home and the price they are charging, I felt it wasn't equitable.

Views on views!

We had a group of 10 celebrating a bday and enjoyed our stay at this home! The deck was spectacular and all the king beds were really comfortable. Loved that we were walking distance to the downtown area. We did hear some mice, and one girl spotted one inside :( something to consider as you are truly in the mountains!! Overall would recommend the stay!!

Overall a good experience

The house is spacious and was very clean, and in COVID world that was great. We had the master bedroom which was wonderful but there is no AC downstairs (the only AC is in the kitchen and living room areas) and as it was a rather warm weekend our friends who were down there had a rather uncomfortable nights sleep, that being said when they opened the windows the second night they said it was a lot better. The kitchen is very well stocked (cooking utensil wise), and the management company even brought us a griddle when I had asked if the house had one. The views are amazing and there was enough space for people to go and have time to themselves if they needed it.

Terrible company to deal with. Overcharged us for alleged damages, stopped responding to any attempts to communicate in order to resolve the issue. Could not prove the damages to the credit card company, so they sent it to the collection agency for the WHOLE AMOUNT OF THE RENTAL that has already been paid for, not just the alleged damage. Idyllwild is beautiful, you'd be wise to arrange your rental somewhere else.

Such a nice home.

This place is wonderful. It feels larger in person. Everything was in working order. 14 of us stayed Aug 2019 to celebrate moms birthday and we really enjoyed cooking here and using the hot tub. I highly recommend a stay here.
