We chose Vrbo expecting to have a private house, but I should have read the listing more carefully. This property includes a separate basement unit that is also rented to other short-term guests, and the house was not built to function as two soundproof apartments.Several nights during our stay, there was significant noise after the host’s stated 10 pm quiet hours, including loud music, TV, yelling, and one argument that lasted for hours. This made it difficult to sleep. Because of this, we would not stay here again and would not recommend it to guests expecting a quiet, private stay.Aside from the noise issue, the house itself was excellent. It was comfortable, spacious, in a good location, and the WiFi and appliances worked well. The home was very pet-friendly, and the host communicated clearly and was considerate.

The listing did not mention there is another rental below you in the basement. In order to access the back yard, the upstairs rental has to go out the front door and walk around the side of the house. The front doorsteps have no railing or anything to hold on to. They're about 3 ft off the ground and some of the stairs are sloped toward the road making it awkward if you're not used to it. Overall, a clean, well appointed property that looks like it's in the middle of an update. It is very convenient to most everything in Idaho Falls, 10-15 minutes from everything.

Like visiting grandparents home, but modernized

Communication with the owner was swift. Check-in was easy and we found everything we needed during our stay. Beds were comfortable. Walking distance to several business, food, etc.

Nice and clean

The property was nice and clean. It was close to the places we visited, so that was great. One thing, I did not see anywhere in the listing that there were downstairs renters. I thought we would be the only ones staying there. They left for a few hours and their dog howled the whole time they were gone. Other than that, it was a nice stay.

Short and sweet

We had a family event in Idaho Falls at the end of a family reunion in Idaho. We needed a place for our large group and this absolutely fit the bill. One more bathroom would have been nice, but we knew there was just one coming in and planned around that just fine. The home was very clean and accommodated our family of eight adults and two small children perfectly. The hosts were very communicative and collaborative. Great experience - would happily rent again!

House was nice. Was a split rental house with basement rental also. Lower neighbors didn’t follow quiet time. Not the owners fault. Hopefully he left bad review for the renter due to our conversation.

Ski weekend

Sweet little house on a quiet street. We had our BYU I student meet us for some skiing at Kelly canyon. Very pet friendly. Our dog barked a little too much while we were skiing and the host brought him a treat to calm him down.

GROOVY

This house was EPIC! Very well redone seventies house with some original flare. Everything was flawless. They provided lots of yummy snack and lots of condiments, kitchen bonuses, and cooking spices. Only suggestion I have is making the one side fence a little taller, if you have a dog they can hop out easily if they are jumpers. Would definately stay again! Lots of room, kids loved it. Great location with big park nearby.

Awesome customer service

There were some pretty intense winds in Idaho Falls while we were staying there. The wind blew the screen door closed breaking the door knob. We were locked inside the house and with one phone call Trent was there within minutes to let us out. The house is very clean and comfortable and it was the perfect location for our family activities.

Nice place!

This was a very nice place to stay while in Idaho Falls. It was easy to get everywhere in the city that we wanted to go to. The house was very clean and comfortable and had everything we could have needed. The beds were so very comfortable that we wished we could take them home with us! It was quiet and we would recommend it to everyone!
