My family and I had such an amazing time visiting this nearly paradise little cabin. The cabin was very clean and had all the amenities you could ask for or need. This place provided the perfect combination of the peace and quite you get with camping and being in nature, but also still being able to be connected to the real world when you wanted/needed to be.
We loved saying hi to the horses and saw so many animals up close (deer, cows, turkeys, hawks, a frog, and small garden snakes). We spent a lot of time at the pond fishing and sitting outside admiring the views.
The owners were very kind, and one owner stopped by to bring us water and ice. They also responded to our questions in a timely manner.
We felt our privacy was respected and that we had the place to ourselves. There were bug zapper lanterns that really came in handy while we were outside in the evening times, and had lots of fun playing corn hole and ladder ball. Keep in mind some mosquitoes and bugs would make their way into the bottom level of the house in/near the bathroom and bedrooms (Earwigs, mosquitoes, wolf spiders). We would do a quick walk through to get rid of what was in those rooms before occupying them, and that helped out a lot. The water does smell of sulfur, especially on hot, so we used bottled water for drinking and brushing teeth.
All in all my family and I had such an amazing time and were super sad to leave this place. We made lots of great memories here and will for sure be returning.
