Akora Cabin is a simply luxurious one bedroom tiny home designed by Darren Palmer, celebrity judge for The Block. Located in beautiful Hyams Beach, Jervis Bay, Akora Cabin epitomises minimalistic beach-chic. It oozes relaxation and style, and is perfect for couples or single travellers who want to relax, unwind, and connect with nature. The Hyams Beach cafe and two beautiful beaches are within easy walking distance as well.

- Strictly no parties at this property – please. You will be evicted if this rule is broken.
- Akora Cabin is an adults only accommodation.

Where will I be?

Akora Cabin at Hyams Beach is located in a prime position on the main access road into Hyams Beach. It is a very short stroll to the café and just a few minutes' walk to the famous Hyams Beach, world renowned as one of the beaches with “the whitest sand in the world”.

This generous tiny home features a large deck and two separate outdoor areas with daybeds and outdoor dining and BBQ area. Surrounded by a canopy of trees, the sounds of the ocean provide the perfect atmospheric backdrop for relaxing and enjoying the natural beauty of the area.

Akora Cabin is perfectly located! Hyams Beach is perfect for swimming, snorkelling or simply sunbathing. Hyams Beach is the ideal vacation spot for anyone seeking some of the best bright, clear, azure waters Australia has to offer.

How is the property laid out?

This tiny home is luxury designed with comfort in mind, offering modern amenities such as high speed internet, smart TV and sound bar, a fully equipped kitchen with a luxurious bathroom and laundry. The bedroom features a generous queen-size bed with the cabin accommodating up to two guests, making it an ideal spot for a romantic couples getaway.

Wi-Fi and streaming services - will I have them?

Complimentary Wi-Fi is available and a password will be provided in your pre-arrival email. Please note that neither The Holidays Collection nor the owner can guarantee 100% that Wi-Fi will work, and no compensation will be payable if problematic. If Wi-Fi is important, please therefore always have a backup plan.

This property has a smart TV. Please bring your own login details for streaming services.

What about outdoors?

There is a large deck and two separate outdoor areas with daybeds and outdoor dining and BBQ area. The outdoor area is very private and is surrounded by a canopy of trees. Relax and listen to the sounds of the ocean while enjoying the natural beauty of the area.

Keeping warm or keeping cool?

Ceiling fans will keep you cool in the warmer weather.

What about sheets, towels and other supplies?

Akora Cabin at Hyams Beach supplies luxury linen and towels. Please however bring your favourite beach towel.

Parking for cars, boats etc.?

When entering the driveway from the road, parking is immediately on the left hand side of the driveway. Cabin parking for one car is available on the grass area to the left of the wooden fence (street-facing side). Please do not park on the concrete to the right of the wooden fence as this space is allocated to Akora House.

Important: The main concrete driveway is a right of way to both Akora House and Akora Cabin and must be kept clear at all times.

Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?

Sorry, Akora Cabin at Hyams Beach is not pet friendly. Please contact us for a list of our many pet friendly options.

What are the minimum stay rules?

- Summer Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property
- Easter: 4 nights
- Long Weekends: 3 nights
- All other times: 2 nights

Are there any special Summer Season rules?

Please note that during Summer Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.
