The house and rooms were very clean and being right on Lake Huron was a definite plus! The check in and checkout process was smooth and easy. "Wonderful location! We enjoyed the peace and quiet and the lovely view! Stairs a little creaky, but not terrible as sometimes described, would rather have a bathroom update than a stair update. Pictures described accurately. Bathroom a little iffy. Bedroom in the garage has the feel of a camp cabin, not a cozy room FYI. Shower in that room VERY primitive. Besides the bathrooms, everything was very clean! Downside for our group, we had plenty of beds but not really a good area to sit around together and lounge."

"This is a beautiful and cozy place right on the lake. The sunroom is especially lovely, and the lake area is very quiet - great for reading and watching sunsets, etc. The kitchen is well equipped tools-wise, but you will need to bring salt, oil etc. - recommend stopping at a larger grocery store if you plan to cook a lot, but the store in town is pretty well stocked.The one thing I wish was clear is that the two bedrooms are separated by a wall that doesn't go all the way to the ceiling, so you can hear everything in the other room. It wasn't a big issue for us but may be for others.Overall a great stay!"
