Peaceful Acres provides the amenities and comforts of home with a convenient location to Raystown Lake Seven Points Marina, Allegrippas Bike Trail, Trough Creek State Park, Juniata College, Lincoln Caverns, and 1,000 Steps. Enjoy the back deck while you grill and look out over the expansive yard with a mountain view. Nature lovers will enjoy frequent visits to the property by native wildlife. This family-friendly home is equipped with a crib and an on-site washer and dryer. We supply all linens, towels, and a fully equipped kitchen. Your safety is assured by the property’s security camera system and passcode locks.

This is our family's 3rd stay at peaceful acres. We highly recommend this place for a number of reason but the main reason are the host. They're very nice and have excellent communication. The location of this property is great for wanting to be at the lake or if you want to go to town to explore. It's right in the middle. Beautiful view from the back porch. Tons of room we've stay with about 8 people to just the few of us. Very clean and stocked with things to start your trip. Our family cant wait to be back soon!

Everything about peaceful acres was excellent! The house is older and has plenty of charm and character. We traveled with 8 people all together and the house had plenty of room for all. House was really clean and comfortable and the kitchen was definitely the gathering area! Our hosts Shawn and Melinda were amazing from the start, answering questions about the driveway being big enough for our 24’ boat which it most certainly was, and if they had chairs for the fire pit which there was plenty and the fire pit is definitely large. The location was great, centered right in the middle part of the lake, seven points boat launch is 8 minutes over the mountain and aitch boat launch was exactly the same distance down raystown rd, Snyders boat launch is about 20 minutes or so. This was our first stay at a vacation rental and peaceful acres definitely did not disappoint.

Credit card charged a month ahead

This was my first experience with renting a home for a few days. I thought charging my credit card a month before my visit was out of line. I would have thought it would have been later especially when I was not expecting it. The extra charge were higher than I expected. We had a wonderful time and all was good!

A Safe Haven at Peaceful Acres

My family fell in love with Raystown Lake all over again and part of it was our comfortable stay at Peaceful Acres. The location fit us perfectly. Close to the Allegrippis trails for mountain biking , close to the Seven Points Marina for boating and swimming, and close to Aitch for fishing and kayaking. The house is clean, stocked with everything you need. Clean sheets, towels and paper products were also provided. It was such a pleasure to cook in the kitchen. We cooked out on the grill outback and spotted deer down below. The owners even brought their corn hole game over for us to play. Melinda and Shawn were wonderful hosts. They made us feel right at home and were so quick to respond to any questions we had. We will definitely be returning to our home away from home ♥️

Great place to stay

Peaceful Acres was a great place to stay for our long weekend. The house was spotless when we got there and it surpassed all our expectations. The home owners were extremely friendly and very easy to communicate with. The house has everything in it that you would need and then some. Plenty of room for our boat too. We would definitely stay here again.

Our stay at peaceful Arces

The location of this property was great. It is in the middle of every we like to go when visting in the area. The owners stayed in touch with us during our stay and answer any questions we had. The house was well stocked and plenty of room for the 8 of us. Very clean. Our favorite part of the property was the veiw outback and the kids loved the loft area upstairs. I would highly recommend this property to anyone.
